Guest guest
Glad to hear things are looking up for you. Get some sleep~ lol elisaannh -- Hello Fellow Patriots! Did we get out and vote our consciousness? I sure did! On the weight side I'm doing ok, only up about 1.2 pounds and am losing that, I've done real well as the week begins. I'm really run down feeling this week though, so I've been avoiding exercise. I got up really early this morning to get Mother to the polls and home so I wouldn't be late for work now I'm dragging. I have a half pot of coffee brewing and will have a cup that will get the blood pumping, plus the temperatures are dropping and we actually got RAIN last night I was so thrilled. So life is looking up. *~*~*~* "If I look down the road and see how far I have to go, I may get discouraged. If I overthink every aspect of what I need to do to succeed I may give up. No because there were any heavily contested positions being filled, but because one of the busiest polling places in our city (mine) got shut down when the building was sold to a private developer and we were all moved elsewhere. I was sent to a school a few blocks away, but they didn't have the book with our block's signatures, they erroneously got sent to another school. People who were told to go to that other school got the same story - their books were sent to the school I was standing in. I'm glad I had my sample ballot with me to prove to them I was sent there and not the other place after the people there insisted *I* was in error (as well as about 20 other people who were trying to vote and being told they were in the wrong place). They wound up having to send messengers around to collect all the books from our former district and redistribute them to the right polling places. What a mess! A lot of people gave up, but I had nothing else to do and sat with a handful of other neighbors on a bench watching the schoolkids in the gym.
