HO, HO, HO-O-O-O!

Sunday, 25 July 2010

Listen...do you hear that? I do. I can hear Santa! Sounds like he's way off in the distance, near some kind of "Pole" somewhere!" And even though his Ho, Ho, Hos are a little faint, the reason I can hear him is because Santa's visit is only five months from today! So what do you think of that, huh? Oh yes, Christmas time is getting closer and closer. Before you know it, it'll be time for joy and cheer!

Now on the 25th of every month this year, I've reminded you that Christmas is once again on its way. And why do I remind you? Well, because a lot of you wrote me last year and told me that your weight wasn't quite where you wanted it to be. And last year, you promised yourself that next Christmas, (that would be this one coming up), you were going to be healthier and slimmer than you were during the holiday season of 2009. So, since January of this year, I've reminded you each month that Christmas is on the way again.

Now, from January to July, you could have lost somewhere between 35-60 pounds. And hey, that's a lot of weight to have lost in less than seven months. Just think, that's a lot less weight on your feet, ankles, knees, legs and back!

And wow! If you lost that much weight, it means your dress size has changed, your waist has shrunk and you should be doing a regular zippety-do-dah kinda dance! But if you haven't been on program like you should've this year, there's the possibility that, instead of losing weight...you may have gained weight in 2010. And hey, that's not good! So, if you fall into the category of weight-gain, tell me, how much weight you've gained in 2010? 10 pounds? Oh, what's that? 20 pounds...more? Well now, we have to do something about that, don't we? If you begin today, this 25th day of July, you could lose a good 20-30 pounds before you open your presents on Christmas Day. And wouldn't that be a nice present to give yourself? After all, good health is the best present ever! And I know you know what to do when I tell you to get started again. If you have a FoodMover, get it out and get started on Blast Off week. If you don't have a FoodMover, you can pick one up here in our store.

You know what comes after you get started. You're gonna have to cut back on the number of calories and fat grams you've been consuming. You've got to workout...everyday from now until Christmas. And you've got to keep your weight loss goal in the forefront of your mind. I want you to think about those goals before dipping that fork into a plate of food, too.Now look, I know it's not going to be easy. You have to get through the rest of this summer, then Halloween, Thanksgiving, and those oh-so tempting days leading up to Christmas. But you know what? There're not any new Halloween candies coming out this year. There'll be no big changes in your Thanksgiving menu. And when it comes to food, Christmas will be pretty much the same as it was last year. So you already know how all of those holiday foods taste. And...you know how much weight you gained last year by partaking in all of those sinfully high-in-calories holiday foods. So why make the same mistakes this year?Wait...I hear it again! Did you? Do you hear those Ho-Ho-Hos? Just keep listening because soon, you'll be hearing the sound of sleigh bells, too!Love,
