Guest guest
We missed you but this happens. I have missed before also in fact more than once lol. No one thinks anything of it, actually I was on to long last night and poor legs and feet paid for it. Hope you feel better, this humidity and heat are kicking my butt hard to breathe etc. hugs...patonelildeltagirl wrote: I'm sorry I missed chat last night. I'm afraid that the only excuse that I have is the one I learned from my kids while they were growing up: "I forgot". I have laid around for three days after my Tuesday Shot. I think it's the combination of heat and heat. I take my dog out and I come back in almost sick from not being able to breath and I feel soooooooooo wilted. I don't take her out anymore unless I am sure she is ready to do her business cause I just can't stand it anymore. I did get the reminder and "forgot" anyway. I am sooooooo sorry. I hope it went well. Hugs, VickieG

Guest guest
Thanks for writing in about the heat Gail & Del, sometimes I forget I'm ill and I wonder why I feel so crappy... then hubby will remind me. I've been having a rough time this summer with the heat, (Its been 32-39C) breathing, weakness, extreme sweating... thank goodness this week is 'normal', whatever that is.. lol ~~~~~~~~~AnyaWe each affect the other and the other affectsthe next, and the world is full of stories, but thestories are all one.~MitchAlbom~ ----- Original Message ----- From: gail Del if you still have the active virus heat will make you sick within 20 minutes outside. When my virus was still active I reacted like I had sun stroke after 20 minutes and started throwing up.After treatment and I cleared the virus I can stay out in the sun now with using the normal precautions like a hat and sun block. The extream heat bothers my breathing and I can't stay out in it cause I can't breath cause I don't have the best lungs.Keep ice cubes in the fridge to put on the back of your neck on bad heat days. Gail -----Original Message-----From: On Behalf Of Del Compton Hi guys.. It is the heat, atleast a major part of it. It' is like pulling the plug to drain on a cooler after the camping trip is over.. The water coming out, the same as the energy pouring out of me. goes fast.. I really have felt, when walking Kirby, Man... I better get back, I am really fading fast! I hope I don't have to sit down on the curb trying not to pass out!! hahaha.... Also, alot, or atleast some, of the meds we are on, contain things like that are in anti biotics, and you can burn, real bad, real fast. I have scarred my noggin' for life, due to no protection from wind or sun, while on trips on my bike. Even weeks later, my forehead would still openly drip blood down my to my eyes, not BAD BAD,, I went to a dermatologist and they said wow don' t do THAT again, but I figure in order for my forehead to get so sensitive, and turn fire engine red, and the bleeding a week or so after the incident, I must have had 3rd degree burns. Be careful. I still get real red, to this day.... Del ..

Guest guest
My name is Heidi and I am 43 and I just joined! I have 120 pounds to lose, so I will be around for awhile! I lost over 100 pounds once before, and then had surgery and never got back on track. Ever since the surgery, I haven't been able to get my act together since the surgery (it has been four years ago now)and have managed to gain back 66 pounds of the weight I had lost. Each week I step on the scales and watch the number go up. Each week I am determined I will LOSE weight-and do great... sometimes for an hour, sometimes for 3 or 4 days-but then it is like a switch is flipped and I quickly undo whatever I had accomplished. It is almost like my mind goes into a panic road and I rush to regain the weight. So anyways-that is where I am. I am hoping that meeting others who are on the same journey and finding some friends and support might help me get my act together. I look forward to meeting you all! Guest guest
Oh Heidi, I so relate to your experience. I lost loads of weight in 2005-2007... I was within 20 pounds of my goal weight... Not sure what happened, besides getting married :-), but since 2007, I have gained back 40 of those pounds... I too do well for a day or so then totally sabotage myself. I get SOOOO frustrated. I beat myself up, then eat out of emotions. I keep telling myself that I have done it before, and I can do it again. THEN, for no apparent reason, I will gorge on nuts and bread and other stuff. I don't keep "junk" food in our house, but I gorge on too much of "good things."Then, I vow to "do better." I get up, thinking I will exercise and eat healthy... I do have a healthy breakfast and do a bit more activity, sometimes a bike ride or walk... I will do that for a day or even a week, then I don't see the number on the scale go down FAST enough, and I get frustrated.I don't get how I could do it before, and now I am having such issues. Anyway, welcome! apmleehere@...From: heidigina <heidigina@...>100-plus Sent: Thu, July 22, 2010 6:06:19 AMSubject: Good morning, everyone! My name is Heidi and I am 43 and I just joined!
