Guest guest
Hey ya'll,I haven't been able to reply to any of my emails lately cause the kids computer went kaput and we've all been taking turns being online on this one. Anyways, everybody else is in the livingroom watching tv and I am sneaking in some computer time!! ;)I have continued exercising, although, I haven't been pushing myself very hard. I just hadn't been feeling it,but whatever it was seems to be passing (again!) and I am back to working hard.Since I hadn't been challenging myself,I'm feeling the workouts I done for the past few days!! I am sore!! but not as sore as when I first started. It is getting better every day-less sore even though I am continuing to exercise. Also,I'm getting stronger and the workouts aren't as challenging as they were, well, they still do challenge me but they are getting easier to do is what I guess I am trying to say. The only downside is,I still weigh exactly the same as when I first started!! My clothes still fit exactly the same as well.I have been admiring my hard earned muscles in my arms!!! I keep flexing my arms just to see my muscles and see the definition I am gaining. :)I'd like to get some more cardio workout videos, aerobics or somethinglow impact, something that doesn't require jumping up and down. I found out, I can't jump rope, and I don't mean it being hard on my body either! I mean,I can't jump rope! I tried it, but I just could not jump over the rope! I kept stepping on the darn thing or I'd jump too soon and smack the rope into my shins!! LOLI'm sure I could get it with more practice but it ain't worth the trouble to me right now. Maybe once I get this weight off,I'll come back to it.I am more fit now and my endurance has rose,so that's why I would like to try other cardio exercises and improve still. I recover quicker after WATP (walk away the pounds) and Tae Bo.I think Tae Bo is about 30 minutes long and WATP is about 40 minutes long. What I find funny(odd) is,I don't sweat hard during the workouts but start pouring sweat during cool down!I done WATP this morning, last night it was The Fat Burning Workout and Thursday, The Kettlebell workout(I actually done the first workout in the video, including warm up and cool down) about 30 minutes-not including warm up and cool down. And,I've been drinking my water.Enough so that my body is getting used to all that water,so I'm not running to the bathroom every 5 minutes! LOL I drink 2L a day (64 oz)I'm beginning to think PMS is what throws me off balance and derails my motivation, cause I fall into a slump just before, then start feeling better during, and that's what's happened now.I never made that connection till now because my cycle has always been wonky, not exactly irregular but not exactly regular either,it's never been every 28 days or even 30 for that matter. Sometimes I can skip a whole month so it's difficult to keep track.Anyways, bet you weren't expecting that admission! LOLGuess I've embarrassed myself enough for one night, later,Daisy
