.. . . to know that I have a legitimate reason to feel like crap! Some of you know that I have been struggling with some health issues. Like having periods that last for 3 weeks.Anyway, just got home from a visit with a specialist -- GYN. He tells me that I am anemic - my hemaglobin is 8 and a normal one is around 15. At least now I know that I have a legitimate reason for feeling so tired all of the time. It isn't all in my head. I was beginning to feel guilty about feeling so lazy; but I just knew something else was going on. Doc also told me that my uterus is enlarged -- about the same as if I was 14 weeks pregnant. Diagnosed with uterine fibroids - he told me the best option for me was to have a hysterectomy. It is scheduled

for May 17. My oldest son graduates from college on May 15 -- didn't want to have it before that because I want to be able to enjoy his graduation celebrations! My blood sugars have been off the past couple of weeks too -- but not going to get too excited about that until after my surgery. So, I am going to be lurking for awhile longer. But once I am healed from the surgery -- going to have to get serious about this weight loss journey again. Dacia<>< Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." 14:27
