It was a lot of fun to write but it was also a lot of work. The Better Body Book contained lots of photos showing how to do all of the exercises it contained. And I'm telling you, it took four full days to shoot all of the photos alone! And after four days of shooting, let's just say I really was building myself a better body. And hey, that's what we all want, right? Healthy and...Better Bodies! You achieve your own better body only if you stick to dedicated, regular workouts. I get up in the morning and say to myself, "I promise, I'm going up to my gym and put in a 45-minute workout." And let me tell you, my promises really mean something to me.See, I follow through on each of the promises I make and keep them. Even if I'm tired, I crawl up those stairs to my gym and get my sweatin' in. And on top of that daily routine, three days a week, I'm teaching class at Slimmons. And there, I have to instruct, dance and sing...all at the same time!I put my everything into my workouts at Slimmons, just like I do at home. When I lift my legs high, my students life theirs high. When I dance to the music, they're dancing right along with me. And I have to tell you, we all look so different at the end of class than when we'd begun. (That's what all of that sweat will do for you!) When I see everyone's outfits drenched with sweat, I know I've done my job. I have to say, over the years, I have built myself a better body. My muscles are nice and toned. I have really good posture and my breathing is perfect. I know that I've done my best with the body God has given me.So, if you had to rate your own body on a scale of 1-10, what number would you give yourself? No, 3 is not good enough and neither is 5. Your score should be somewhere between 7 and 10. Listen, you can lose weight by reducing the number of calories and fat grams you consume every day. But...without exercise as part of your formula, you won't be building yourself that better body.If you vigorously work out everyday, like I do, you're not going to believe what you see in the mirror. Your arms and legs will look more shapely. You'll lose weight in those problem areas that have bothered you for so long. And with some hard work, you may even be able to build a four or six-pack for your tummy! So tell me, do you want a Better Body? If you do, be sure to feed the inside of that body of yours with the healthiest of foods. And you need to workout the outside of your body to get it firm and youthful looking. Today is Monday and I want you to strive to get in seven hours of exercise over the next seven days.
