Yesterday’s Meals: B- 3T flaxseed meal, 3T coconut cream, tea later: 2 eggs, 3 turkey sausages L- 2 red franks, 2 oz roast beef, 1T mayonnaise, 1 oz cashews, 1/2 oz cheese S- 2 chocolate chip/walnut cookies D- 4 oz beef patty, 2 cups romaine salad with tomato, mushrooms and onion. 1T Caesar dressing S- 2 T mocha mousse 1992 calories, 147g fat, 73g carbs, 10g fiber, 96g protein Percentage of goal: calories were over (not optimal) at 131%, fat was over (but ok) at 132% carbs way over at 213%, fiber ok at 81% and protein was great at 101% This day caught me a bit off guard. I ate my flaxseed breakfast early in the morning, but later, my daughter got up and made eggs and sausage, which I would never refuse….lol. I love eggs and hadn’t had any in a long time. So that did bump my breakfast quite high in calories, but fine in carbs. Then came the pass around of the cookies. I am not much for sweets, but I did enjoy them, but having two really did cure me of any further desire for cookies. Later, my daughter asked me to make her my famous (family wise) mocha mousse, which I did, so I ended up with two desserts in one day, even though I add no sugar to my mousse, it’s just dark chocolate, coffee, butter and heavy cream. Overall, I am ok with the intake, as high as it was in my percentages, but I am determined today to keep those carbs in check. We are going out shopping today, and I suspect we may stop for clams, if that is so, I will have them, they are too good to pass up. If not, then my carbs should be fine. My sweet daughter bought more meat for me. Oh….and I have been suffering from sunburn! LOL..ouch! Thats from the day at the beach. I could hardly manage the pain on the back and sleeping last night, but it is better today. --
