24 little hours…. I made it through yesterday ON TARGET. Yay and GO me! Being so mad about the restaurant choice really kept me fired up, I guess. Tension is pretty high here on the island, as my daughter is now 10 days overdue so I am actually surprised when I held firm on my eating choices all day. Yesterday’s Meals: B- 2 mozzarella cheese sticks, tea (still having a stomach ache most of the morning from the burger, I waited until I was hungry to eat). L- omelet: 2 eggs, butter, 3 oz turkey, 2 mushrooms, 2T cream, 1.5 oz crab D- 4 oz steak, 2 cups cauliflower mash, 1T corn S- Irish coffee – coffee, whipped cream and whiskey 1464 calories, 61g fat, 18g carbs, 5g fiber, 86g protein Percentage of goals: excellent calories at 96% low fat at 55% (I really thought the whipped cream would have helped here), excellent carbs at 52%, fiber low at 38% and protein excellent at 91%. We went for a long drive around the island yesterday, to sightsee a bit and to get out of the house. My daughter and grandsons. Still quite pregnant. My son-in-law and daughter. I just can’t get enough of the sea. Not ever. This was taken up on the North Shore. There was something reviving to us all yesterday and the evening went really well. My daughter made steak and although she served pasta, corn and garlic bread as sides, she also made a fabulous cauliflower mash with just a hint of cheese and cream. She also made a lemon cake with whipped cream, which I used to make the Irish coffee with and all was heavenly. It is now the 10th day past the due date. We have one stubborn little girl. I sure hope she is born before I leave in another 11 days. --
