Guest guest
OH COME... Wednesday, 25 August 2010 ....All ye faithful, joyful and triumphant. Oh, hi there! I see you caught me singing a Christmas carol! Well, Christmas truly is my favorite holiday. And how about you? Are you a big Christmas lover, too? That joyous holiday comes but once a year and, you know what? It'll be here again soon! Have you been enjoying the Christmas holiday messages I've done for you on the 25th of each month this year? I love writing them. I'm telling you, when I think of Christmas, I get goose bumps. Oh, I just love decorating my house for the holidays. And as I decorate, what do I listen to? Oh come, all ye faithful... Now you know what I'm going to tell you next. Christmas will be here only four months from today. Oh I know, it's hard to believe that in less than four months, you'll be putting up your holiday decorations. You'll be busy shopping, wrapping presents and you may even do a little Christmas caroling in your neighborhood. And let me ask, what do you think you'll weigh...come Christmas Day? Do you have any idea how many temptations are going to be within your reach during the next four months? Well, close your eyes and think about them, please. You see, during the next four months, you may very well gain weight. Some of you will say things to yourself like, Oh I'll just have a little bit! What're the holidays all about if you can't relax and indulge a little? Well, with those thoughts in your head, get ready to wrap your mind around this next little bit of news. Millions of Americans will gain somewhere between 5-12 pounds between today and Christmas Day 2010. Do you want to be among them? Well, of course you don't! So how much weight have you lost since January 1st, 2010? Hey, you could've been quite a few pounds down since the beginning of the year. I mean, you could be under 300, under 200 pounds or, who knows, you could be just about be at your weight-loss goal by now. Oh, I can just hear you talking to me... ", I had a rough year." ", I've been depressed most of this year and just haven't been able to concentrate on my weight." ", I did so much for others this year that I just had no time to take good care of me!" Now I hate to ask, but did you gain weight in the past eight months? You did? Okay, so how much weight did you put on? A lady E-mailed me yesterday and told me that she'd gained 60 pounds...this year! And I told her there's nothing we can do about those pounds she'd gained except...get to work losing them! I suggested that she believe in herself more over the next four months and do her best to stay on program. I told her that if she worked hard, she could lost 20 pounds between now and Christmas. And I told her to think about how good that would make her feel! Come all ye faithful! Really believe in yourselves for the next four months with all of your heart and soul. So...come all ye faithful! Really believe in yourselves for the next four months with all of your heart and soul. Between today and Christmas day, not only can you turn your weight around but you can turn your whole life around. And I'm telling you, your body and soul will thank you. And you'll feel so much better thanks to your dedication and hard work. So keep the faith, all ye faithful and believe in what you can do! Now, what color shall I make my Christmas tree this year? Christmas is fine, but to be honest my favorite is Halloween. >Now you know what I'm going to tell you next. Christmas will be here only four months from today Over on the Sansone forums there's been talk of wanting to make a DVD workout to Christmas music. She already has an audio CD with all Christmas music, so why not a DVD, too? Wouldn't it be cool if would make one, too? Can't you just imagine that fuzzy-headed imp dressed up in an elf costume jumping around to Jingle Bell Rock? LOL >Oh I know, it's hard to believe that in less than four months, you'll be putting up your holiday decorations. A lot of stores around here have Christmas stuff for sale already. One side of the aisle has Halloween, the other ornaments and light up deers. WAY too soon! >Do you have any idea how many temptations are going to be within your reach during the next four months? Well, close your eyes and think about them, please Coming up is the worse 3 months of the year in this house. Besides Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years we also have all three birthdays and our anniversary. My Dad's birthday was included in this stretch when he was alive, too. >And let me ask, what do you think you'll weigh...come Christmas Day? It better be under 250! >Millions of Americans will gain somewhere between 5-12 pounds between today and Christmas Day 2010. Do you want to be among them? Well, of course you don't! Last year I managed to lose in this time period and plan to do the same this year. >So how much weight have you lost since January 1st, 2010? 11 pounds, so far. But for many months since then I've had injuries that kept me from exercising and now the low thyroid hindering weight loss. >Come all ye faithful! Really believe in yourselves for the next four months with all of your heart and soul. As long as my joints and back hold out I should be able to at least maintain this weight and NOT gain between now and Christmas. If that happens I'll be happy. >Now, what color shall I make my Christmas tree this year? I always went for multi-colored ornaments and lights.
