TWINKLE LIGHTSTuesday, 25 May 2010Seven months from today, here's what you'll be doing. You'll be looking at thousands of homes decorated with twinkle lights during the Christmas season! (That's right, it's time for our monthly Christmas message!)

And don't you just love seeing those twinkle lights during the holiday season? I do! You put them everywhere! Oh, we hang them from our Christmas trees and string them on our front door's wreath. The big thing these days is to hang them from the roof of your home so they look

like little icicles. I guess that next they'll make twinkle lights you

can actually hang from your children! LOL.

Twinkle lights used to come in basically one "color"...clear. But now you can get them in every color of the rainbow! So seven months from today, neighborhoods all over America

will be justa twinkling for the Christmas holidays.

Now if we subtract seven from twelve, we get five. And that simple formula means five months have passed since last Christmas, 2009. Many of you were not happy with what you weighed last Christmas.

And yes, you vowed to get started working on taking back your figure in

the year 2010.

In the past five months, you could've dropped 25 pounds or more. And hey, that's a lot of weight. I mean, did you ever try lifting dumbbells that weighed 25 pounds? It's not easy!

And when you gain 25 pounds, you don't gain it all in just one part of your body. A pound may be added to your neck. You may put 2-3 pounds on each of your hips and there may be an additional four pounds on each of your thighs. Hey, a few pounds added here plus a few pounds added there, put together, add up to what you weigh today.

But when you begin really moving that body of yours, with exercise,

then you start to shake-shake-shake those extra pounds right off your body. I hear that many of you had lost some weight this year but then put it right back on over the past five months. Oh, it's so easy to do, isn't it?

So tell me, my friends, how much weight have you lost since January of this year? Does that number satisfy you? And if you didn't lose the weight you wanted to lose, are you able to identify the detours you took

this year that caused you not to lose or maybe even gain back the pounds you lost?

Have you been making time for your workouts? What's that? You mean you

haven't? Now you know better than that! You have got to

plan and get in your sweatin' time! You know how important it is if you want to reach your weight-loss goal!

And have you been in control of your eating habits consistently this year? Did you form new healthier eating habits? Are you eating like you should be eating or like you want to be eating? Come on now, you know it's gonna make a big difference in what you weigh.

Look everybody, I don't want you to enjoy only the twinkle lights hanging from the rooftops in seven months. I also want you to enjoy the twinkle of success...in your eyes as you're showing off a new, healthier you come Christmas Day of this year.

So how will you decorate your house this year?
