Guest guest Posted August 1, 2010 Report Share Posted August 1, 2010 INVENTORY Sunday, 01 August 2010 You know what I do on the first day of every month? I take inventory of how I did last month. After completing my mental inventory, I move on to thinking of ways to make the new month even more productive for myself. Hey, no grass grows under my feet! I'm always on the go, in a pair of go-go shorts, even. LOL! I like to keep busy and being busy is a good thing. When it's time to go to sleep or take a little nap, I zone out and think of nothing as I close my eyes. But, when I'm awake, I'm telling you, this mind of mine is moving at maximum speed. And yes, I keep my body going at maximum speed, too!All day long...I'm burning lots of calories. Sometimes when I'm in the office talking on the phone, I'm walking around the room at the same time. It's good that I move so much because, this month, I'm going to need a lot of energy. I have so much to do in August. I'll be heading to Philadelphia this month to do QVC. I'll be on with my new Sweatin' For Life package. I also have a few meetings this month with people who want to pitch ideas on new television shows to me. I'm writing the foreword to a new Chicken Soup for the Soul kind of book this month, too. It will contain stories about fitness, eating and weight-loss. All of the stories from the Chicken Soup book are true stories from real people sharing their emotional experiences with the reader.This month, I also have to finish up work for my Cruise To Lose. My tank tops are all ready and so is my music. I'm just tweaking the binders our cruisers receive the evening we set sail. And I can't wait to get on that ship and be with all of my wonderful Cruise To Lose shipmates. I adore them so much. Oh, how we laugh on our cruises...we have such a great time. I just have to make sure everything is perfect in our binders so my cruisers can learn as much as possible while we're at sea. And of course, I'll be teaching lots of classes at Slimmons this month. Ya' know, the older I get, I think the tougher I make my exercise classes. Hey, I really like to make everybody sweat! I'll call lots of people this month and answer thousands of E-mails. Summer's not over yet so there're still lots of people on vacation. You know, (maybe firsthand), how people love to eat when they're away on vacation. And the bad thing is, people who eat more on vacation, to top it off, aren't exercising as much as they should, either. Now there's a bad combination! This month, l have to motivate a lot of people to stay on track with their weight loss programs. I like to also remind you to work hard at losing lose five pounds each month, too. And believe me, I'll drive you crazy until you do!Now, I want you to make a little time today to go some place quiet and take an inventory of your month.
