Guest guest
Another great day on plan yesterday and a weigh in today. I am very pleased with 243 considering that I have had way too many high calorie days since I have been on home-time. I am bothered that I weighed 242 last night before bed, which would have meant no gain, but there you have it, I am up one pound this morning from last week. Reports: Click to Enlarge Eleven of my 19 days of home-time have been way too high for weight loss. What saved me this particular home-time from an even higher gain is that I was very active, lots of swimming, walking, and housework. I normally do NOT use the feature of exercise calorie burn to supposedly offset higher calories, but I am entering it this time as a reference point for me. Since I cannot exercise on the truck, it is a mute point. I can see that I have been active and this has resulted in keeping the weight gain in check, but this is not how I want to diet. I prefer to rely on calorie in rather than try to balance in and out calories. So, I am pleased that with this kind of calorie debauchery (at least there wasn’t any sugary, junk or fast foods) I did not gain much. I am still at a net 4 pound gain since the beginning of the month, but the weight was as high as 246. I had not entered my gains until now, as I was not sure they were going to stick, but I know now that the 243 is a true weight, especially since I have been in check for the last 3 days. Click to enlarge After those three days of “back on acceptable calories†I feel great. The desire to eat has vanished and I feel once again I am moving forward. I continue to experiment with foods I cannot eat on the truck. I had my second egg foo yong dinner, oh so good and I am becoming Little Miss Suzie Homemaker, I made ice cream! I used half and half and only made one serving, it was so good! Yesterday's Meals B- 6 oz coffee, 1T half and half, 63g ham, 2 eggs, 9g butter L- 118g red leaf lettuce, 1T olive oil, 2tsp rice vinegar, 1T sunflower seeds T- 1 oz macadamia nuts, pot of tea D- 10g coconut oil, 124g bean sprouts, 45g bok choy, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 1 tsp roux S- 1/2 cup half and half, 25 blueberries, 1/4tsp honey = ice cream 1273 calories, 98g fat, 38g carbs, 6g fiber, 57g protein I have 1 more week before leaving for Hawaii to see my daughter, help her give birth and see my 3 grandsons. With everything that I wanted to get done in the apartment and shopping, I think this week I will drop down to my trucking calories and see if I can at least get back down to 239. I would be 4 pounds over my goal for the end of this month, but that is my fault for indulging when I could not really afford it. -- Posted By elisaannh to The Little Bowl at 7/20/2010 07:25:00 AM
