I am 54 years old and as dense as they come. After all these years of cycles, you’d think I’d have figured this out sooner, but nope. It didn’t click until this moment. This errant period that happened after 15 months of not happening….THAT must be why I had the crazy unexplained gain! Yep, I often use to gain up to 10 pounds before a period and drop it quickly afterwards. I will be very curious to see what my weight is on Tuesday. I guess that this just took me by surprise and nothing clicked in my head about it. Explains why I have been so tired lately too. I wonder how much of this fluctuating every month has been due to a cycle that has been trying to happen? --

That could very well be, Ann.... now that you are on a TOM cycle, put it on your calendar or computer so you can see when it "would" or "could" be each month to watch the cravings, moods, etc....

I do that. Since I had my happy surgery what, last summer (?) and haven't had periods, I still have the fluctuations that would come with PMS and/or TOM, so it's nice to see it on the calendar.
