LOL. Oh, dinner...it was always one of my favorite meals! Breakfast is my favourite meal. Whether I have a small one or a large one, it seems to set the tone of my day. I am a tea drinker, but I love one cup of strong fench pressed coffee, with half hot milk. In Denmark, we usually eat cheese or meat on a heavy dense rye bread or a whole grain crispbread. We also eat a full fat yogurt drizzled with rye crumbs. Our hot cereals are oatmeal or a rye cereal that is cooked in ale and served with cream. We do eat soft boiled eggs for breakfast with french bread, but eggs and bacon are a dinner meal and our pancakes are like crepes and are a dessert, not a breakfast. But since I have lived in America, I love the eggs and bacon or sausages! I don't care for the pancakes. I love real maple syrup, which I drizzle on bacon or sausage! Yum! My husband's first experience in an American restaurant was when he ordered french toast, thinking it was french bread....toasted! Out came this strange fried bread with powered sugar and fruit on it....you should have seen his face! I still laugh about it. He won't eat anything sweet for breakfast.Lunch is iffy for me. If I am busy, I can often forget it. Dinner, I am usually so hungry, I feel it is a necessity. My weight issues center around snacking. I use to love the combination of crunchy and creamy. When I would start on snacking, I did not want to stop. I could consume vast amounts. Enough to gain 150 pounds. Amazing that real food is self limiting and snack foods seem to have no connection to satiety. -- Ann HStarted 09/01/09Starting weight 307/Current weight: 247/Goal Weight 157My Weightloss Journal: Lavenderannn
