Guest guest
"PART OF MY DAY!" Sunday, 07 March 2010 Last week, while I was on QVC, a lady called in to talk during one of my appearances. And oh, was she ever so cute! She'd ordered my Sweatin' To The Oldies DVD 20th Anniversary set and said she does one of them everyday! She told me... ", working out has just become a part of my day. It's like brushing my teeth and combing my hair. Exercise is among the things I just have to do everyday. I don't even think twice about it. I look forward to my workouts! And I have to tell you, exercise has kept me alive and healthy for a very long time!"And the last line of her testimonial led to the most incredible news...this lady was 79 years-old! Now how fantastic is that? She truly knows how to take good care of herself. I mean, just look at her! She's lived 79 years and has only 21 more years to go before reaching 100. I'm bettin' she'll make it! I told her that I wanted to live to be 100 myself! And in this day and age, living to 100 is so much more possible than it was years ago. Do you want to live to be a hundred? Don't you wanna live to see what's going to happen on this earth in the areas of technology and medicine? Don't you want to live to see cars actually fly through the air, just like on The Jetsons? Yeah? Then that means you must follow of the lead of my new 79 year-old friend who works out everyday!Look, you can't live to be a ripe old age if you're not exercising regularly. See, not only does exercise help you live longer but it helps you live stronger, too. Exercise strengthens every bone and muscle in your body. Exercise keeps the blood flowing from your head to your toes and back to the heart. Exercise makes you think more clearly. It also helps with your concentration. Exercise keeps you agile and energetic. Now many of you think that exercise is just for losing weight. But that's simply not true. Yes, you will lose weight when you combine exercise with a healthy food plan. But with exercise, you gain so many good things for your body, too. People write and tell me how many days in a row they've been exercising. Ten days, fifty days, a hundred days or maybe even everyday for a whole year! And let me say, these are the people who're seeing healthy results from their healthy and energetic lifestyles. So, when's the last time you exercised ten days in a row, huh? Oh, you mean it's been that long? Well, why don't you do something great for yourself on this glorious Sunday. Be sure to get in a workout for yourself today. And I'm talking about whichever workout that will really make you sweat. (And I'd better be one of them! LOL.) After you get done today, make a date to exercise again tomorrow...and the next day. And before you know it, you'll have ten days of exercise under your belt...and maybe even a couple less pounds under there, too! Then, keep it up and soon, one day you'll e-mail me to tell me that you've just completed 50 days in a row of working out. And how does that sound? Now, I want you to remember my friend from QVC and start making exercise a...part of your day! Go ahead and make it so!Love,
