THREE MONTHS SINCE CHRISTMAS!

Thursday, 25 March 2010

Yes, it's time for our little Christmas chat again. Uh, you do remember Christmas, don't you? Do you remember some of the presents you got this past Christmas? How about what your tree looked like? Can you describe the wreath you had on your front door?

Do you remember what you ate last Christmas? And do you remember what your weight was on Christmas Day? Well, three months have passed since Christmas 2009...ho, ho, ho! And since then, have you seen some pounds...go, go, go?So what do you weigh today? If we took your weight from last Christmas and looked at your weight today, have you lost since last Christmas. Did your weight stay the same or..have you gained weight? Now, in the three months that've passed since Christmas, you could have lost 15 pounds or more by today. That is, if you stayed on program these last three months.

Did you drink your eight, eight-ounce glasses of water every day since Christmas? Did you watch your portions carefully? Did you bring your own lunch to work with you each day? When you snacked over the past three months, were you snacking on healthy fruits and vegetables? Did you eat your dinner early in the evening? And how about your workouts? Over the past three months, have you worked out everyday? Did you get your toning in a couple of days a week? Did you stretch every morning and evening? Over the past three months, have you built stamina in your heart and other muscles? Have you been sleeping better since December 25th? And how about your attitude? Have you been mostly positive since Christmas?

Now Christmas 2010 is only nine months from today. And hey, I'm already planning my Christmas decorations. (I'm not kidding. I just ordered a twelve-foot red Christmas tree for my house!)Now let me ask, what do you want to weigh on Christmas Day 2010? Boy, in nine months, you could lose somewhere between 45-60 pounds! I want you to really think about it. What would you weigh if you continued to lose five more pounds every month until Christmas of this year? And where do you think you'd see the biggest changes? In your face, your chest, your arms, your waistline or...in your attitude? You need to keep thinking about how you'll look and feel when you rip the bows off your presents this year. Hey, work hard and you'll be able to stick one of the bows from your presents on top of your head. That's because you would have given yourself...the best Christmas present ever! Now we'll be having this same talk again next month! And if you haven't been consistent, start focusing more on trying your best everyday to stay on program!Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...Love,
