Guest guest
ANOTHER QVC VISIT Saturday, 27 February 2010 This morning, I leave for Philadelphia. I have a few new books to take on the plane with me and so now...I'm ready to go! I went to the bookstore the other day and bought myself six new books. They average about 4 -600 pages long. I got a couple of mystery books, a book about the origins of the foods we eat, a humor book and a book on our beliefs about God. How's that for a diverse book selection, huh?Hey, I've got to do something while I'm up in the air for five hours! I read about 100 pages an hour. Soon, I'll be so knowledgeable that I'll be ready to be a contestant on Jeopardy! And oh, in a few weeks, my favorite author, 's new book comes out and I can hardly wait. Hmmm, maybe I should start my own book club! I'm on my way to Philadelphia to once again appear on QVC. I'll be featuring Sweatin' To The Oldies 1-4, Party Off The Pounds and Boogie Down The Pounds along with my motivational DVD, Love Yourself and Win. I've sold this program for quite a while now.And beginning in April on QVC, I'll be featuring my new package called Sweatin' For Life. It will include my all new Sweatin' To The Oldies 5, Tonin' To The Oldies and a great new toning tool, my Boogie Cords! I'll also be bringing Cinderellas from my DVD casts along with me so they can offer everyone some of their motivational tips. It's gonna be a great set of shows!I know that a lot of people watch QVC. In fact, when I go to the airport, I'm always told by people I meet how much they enjoy my appearances there. They tell me I make them laugh and sometimes even make them cry. And after one of my appearances on QVC, I always receive lots of mail! Now, goodness knows, I'm usually a little silly when I'm on. A lot of people are so serious when they appear on QVC. I like to have fun but I have to tell you, sometimes I get a little nervous, too. My dressing room is right around the corner from the hosts dressing rooms. So I always get to see so many of the hosts I've worked with for the two decades I've been appearing on QVC. They've truly become my good friends. They know that every product I bring on has a little bit of my heart in them. And when a rather sad phone comes in, I can often see the host get a little teary-eyed, right along with me. I'll be on QVC three times Sunday at 8:30AM, 5:30PM and 10:30PM. (All times are Eastern.) I don't know which hosts I'll be working with but whoever they are, I know we'll have fun together. QVC is such a nice place to visit. The building is massive and there're so many people working there. As I head for the studio from my dressing room, I wave and sing to everyone as I walk by. Once in a while when I visit QVC, celebrities are there featuring their products and I get to meet many of them. I have to admit though, sometimes I get a little nervous when I do. (See, that shy kid still lives inside me.)Well, I hope you get to watch! I'll wave to you and maybe sing a little tune from of my Sweatin' DVDs...just for you!Love, http://www.richardsimmons.com/j15/index.php?option=com_dailymessage & Itemid=
