Guest guest
Ok, by my scale and tape measure (LOL), this week I lost 2.2 lbs (Yayyyyy!) Settling into the 250s for sure. Glad about that. Can't wait until it is 240s and on down! 6 weeks: - 13 # and - 13.25" That's an average of 2.17 lbs and 2.20 inches per week! I know nothing else. I haven't even brushed my teeth and had coffee yet. I've been up since 5 a.m. (that's just wrong!) and am thinking of showering and eating (or eating and showering) and heading to the training clinic. I guess since I've been up since 5 I should eat first. "They" say we should eat within 30 minutes to 2 hrs of waking up to get the metabolism moving for the day. I'm sneaking up on having been up for 90 minutes now already. Does it count if I change my mind and just go back to bed?? LOL!! Not sure how the knee feels until I stretch it out and get it moving, so not sure if I will only walk the 2 miles at the training clinic, or if I will try to wog any of it... yesterday it was feeling much better than typical. DS13 has his registration today for high school (sigh, 3 high schoolers next year) DS17 negotiated his schedule for senior year of high school: Community Service - via summer school to keep room open in his schedule next year AP Psychology - online - again to keep the schedule open British Literature - 0 hr (means up at the crack of dawn for him next year) Honors Pre-Calc AP US Government & Politics Latin III Age of Genocide (1st sem) and Spiritual Exercises (2nd sem) Advanced PE (1st sem) and Moral Theology (2nd sem) Advanced Biology/Zoology If I do the math correctly, this will mean he will graduate with around 53 credits. I'm thinking they only need 42 or 44 (can't remember). Warranted a call to his guidance counselor to ensure she doesn't think he's overextening himself, since I don't want to be the one to drain his enthusiasm if everything's ok, you know? She said it was one of the most creative (and difficult) schedules she's ever written up and that they talked in great length about his goals and he said it's his final year and he just wants to learn as much as possible. WOW. Ok. Carry on! LOL!! Actually, I think at times, he's almost been bored this year and could be doing more, so I am happy to see him getting a little more advanced/honors stuff in there. Anyway. I may be back later to report on how the training clinic goes. If not, have a great Saturday! in WA 310 / 257.8 /
