Guest guest
.... isn't there a saying out there something about "if you always do what you did you will always get the same result" or something like that? Good for you realizing you need to change things up. I know what you mean about the all or nothing mentality. I go through that too, especially with my sore knee. If I can't do "heavy" exercise I can't do anything at all, etc. For the "binge day" try to get out from under those feelings as soon as possible and move forward. Even one bad meal doesn't have to cycle out of control. Hugs, Move more Eat less Hi, Just wanted to pop in and say how hard this is. I had a couple good days foodwise. Today? Not so good. Made some bad choices. I forced myself to walk anyway. I feel great about that. I need the exercise whether or not I stay on food plan. I figure if I just keep at it and take it one day at a time(one meal at time for me), I'll have to improve. My problem is that if I'm not "perfect" at things I want to throw in the towel. If I go off plan a little, I turn it into a binge day. I gotta stop that. If I don't walk...it's easy to say it wasn't going to work anyway and give up. If I really want to lose this weight, I've got to do something different from what I've always done.
