A MONTH AFTER CHRISTMAS

Have you taken down your Christmas decorations yet? Are you still harboring treats in your house from "Ho-Ho-Ho" Day? Really, can you believe it's been a whole month already since we opened our Christmas presents? Oh, I remember like it was only yesterday. So I wanna know, how have you done so far in this month since Christmas?

Have you kept some of the New Year's resolutions you made about your eating habits and exercise? In the past month, did you plan your meals and cook more at home? Did you drink your eight, 8-ounce glasses of water everyday so far this month?And what about your exercise? Are you getting those workouts in, making time for you and your body? Are you stretching in the morning like I told you to do? Are you warming up your neck, shoulders, chest and back everyday? Do you stretch your legs while lying on the floor then bring your knees into your chest? Are you doing your sit-ups and pushups daily?

Did you get a piece of fitness equipment for Christmas? And if you did, where is it? How often do you use it? Or maybe you got a gym membership for Christmas. Yeah? Well, how many times did you attend that gym in the past month?

And have you been kind to yourself over the past 31 days? Do you look in the mirror and give yourself compliments? Do you leave your house in a sunny disposition and spread a smile and kindness to others you run into.

And in the past month, how much weight did you lose? Remember, we still have our Five-Pounds-A-Month Weight Loss Challenge here on my website for 2010. No, I don't promise you're going to lose 6-8 pounds every week. I promise you realistic weight loss and not "forced" weight loss that's never going to happen.Now on the 25th of every month this year, we're going to have this little chat. See, I need to push you in a positive direction in 2010. When you're not doing so well with your weight-loss efforts, hey, you'll need that little push. That's what I'm here for. But, I promise...I'll be gentle.

If you've been on program since the 25th of December, I want to congratulate you. And if you've detoured over the past month, it's time to get back on the right track and stay on that "Freeway of Love" to...the new you!Love,
