So, in trying to recoup from my recent woes, I of course, went on a soul searching expedition to try and figure out what went wrong.  I have come to the conclusion that somewhere along the line I've become disconnected.  I've become disconnected from my spirituality, disconnected from my fitness desires, disconnected from my writing goals, and disconnected from any advancement I could be accomplishing in any of those areas.  It's not just weight loss that's failing me right now, it's life in general.  I agree about being connected with life and our dreams, our spirituality, our needs.  Sometimes we just need to be fully present in the moment and decide what is best at that moment rather than thinking everything has to be figured out and completed on the spot.  Whether it is work or play or chores, I try to keep it balanced according to need, and not try to do it all at once.I love my kitchen timer.  Sometimes, I set it for a chore and work it until the bell rings and then do something else.  Even if it is to relax in a chair, I will set it for the amount of time I want to release to relaxing.  I've taken walks with my timer, I have set the time I will sew at my machine (which could take up an entire day without a break, I can get so invloved, lol) and my husband laughs when I set it to take a hot bubble bath.  I let the timer decide some of these things, so that in the meantime I can fully immerse myself for awhile without guilt that I should be doing something else.-- Ann H.My blogs are on my profile: elisaannh
