I just, well...love Valentine's Day! After all, this special day is simply all about, love, love...love!

The first girl I ever gave a Valentine's Day card to was a girl in my elementary school named Joanne. I gave her a really pretty card and a heart-shaped box of chocolates from -Stover. Oh, she was so happy to receive them. She even gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. But I ended up eating almost all of the candy from the box. And oh, she was so upset that she told me that I could not be her Valentine's sweetheart. Well, the nerve!My next big Valentine's sweetheart was a girl named Lee. I didn't give her candy. Instead, I took her out to dinner. Lee was my first college sweetheart. In fact, we're still friends to this day. And just a couple of weeks ago, Lee came to visit me in Los Angeles. She brought her beautiful daughter, Marty, along with her. Lee is now happily married to a nice man who designs and builds churches. (Guess I couldn't compete with that, huh? LOL.)Then for so many years my Dalmatians became my sweethearts. Scarlett, , Prissy, Pitty Pat, , Marty and Dolly. And even though they've now gone to doggie Heaven, they're still all my sweethearts.

Thankfully, I still have my Hattie. And on this Valentine's Day, I'll take her for a ride in the car. Oh, she just loves it. She likes to let her head poke out the window as the wind makes her ears flap in the breeze. After our ride, Hattie and I will snuggle up and take a little Valentine's Day nap. Then later this evening, I'll cook her a little something special. She'll have some lean chicken and rice for dinner, which she just loves. I also bought her some heart-shaped doggie treats from the pet store for her after-dinner treat. This will be my 13th Valentine's Day with Hattie. Oh, I love her so much. Today, I want you to remember all the Valentine's Day sweethearts you've had in your life. Isn't it wonderful...just to love? But today is not just a day to love others. Today is a day to remember that you should always love yourself. Today is a day you should eat healthy and get your workout in. Today, you should make a list of all the reasons you love you.

In fact, let me get that list started for you. You're kind. You have a great sense of humor. You're a hard worker. You're a good listener. You've got a good heart...which is why you're always there to help others. And you've made sacrifices in your life for friends and family. Now, there's lot more you should love about yourself and I'm gonna let you complete the list as a little homework assignment for yourself today.Now, before you go on with your Valentine's Day, I have a little valentine's just for you...
