Guest guest
It was my goal to get to 15 million cumulative steps logged "this year" 15,009,478 steps reached today! Wahoo!! Mind you, that is over FIVE YEARS <roughly> of logging my steps, not one year!! That's still pretty darned good! I'll be sure to post my steps goal for 2010 for how many I'd like to aim for next. Might be in the 20-25 million steps range, we'll see.... in WA
Guest guest
Neat! And your next goal sounds impressive as well. But now I'd like you to go outside and speak to 'Your' weather Godesses and ask them to bring the snow back to you. I've had enough! fireangel in the DC Metro Area with over 24 inches! Guest guest
LOL @ that~ sorry! Last December we got 5 feet of snow, so I really don't care if all we get is rain this winter. (( HUGS )) Re: Yay: 15 million steps goal reached 2 weeks early! Neat! And your next goal sounds impressive as well. I'm with you! When we get this much before the official start of Winter it's always the harbringer of a too-white winter season. > fireangel in the DC Metro Area with over 24 inches! And WE don't DO snow here! I know - one of the co-owners of another group I have lives in VA but works in D.C. and she always mentions how the city practically shuts down when they get just an inch, that this storm was just devastating and she had no idea if she would even be able to get into work today, as plows kept breaking down all weekend and hardly anything had been cleared. Federal Government actually shut down too! And they generally don't. 'Course us 'essential' employees have to go whether they shut down or not. I actually had to work yesterday, and thankfully did get there, moved from plant to plant and returned home safely. Still not looking forward to it tonight though. I'm a Federal Meat Inspector (USDA) and work night shift, so that makes it worse, but we ALL need our meat safe right? fireangel

I think they would laugh at their Maerican employees if they didn't come in today. > Federal Government actually shut down too! And they generally don't. My husband worked for them for 30 years and I know they rarely had an unscheduled day off. Even the days they had no power they still had to come in, even if all they did was answer phones and do crossword puzzles.
