Guest guest
Prepare to change your clock on Sunday, March 14, 2010 as daylight saving time begins at 2 am. We lose an hour of sleep. Sleep is an activity most of us take for granted yet it is as essential as the air we breathe. Prepare to change your body clock by trying to get an extra hour of sleep in the nights preceding and following the time change. Short daytime naps lasting less than 90 minutes are helpful. Naps too close to bedtime may cause fragmented sleep and actually worsen the sleep wake cycle. Exposure to sunlight in the early morning hours will also help reset your body clock.
