CRUNCH & UPS

Wednesday, 17 February 2010

Did you do your sit-ups and pushups yesterday, my dear friends? And how about the day before? Okay, how about last month? In fact, how dedicated were you to your sit-ups and pushups in all of 2009?

There are so many machines on the market these days created to work your abs and chest. Some of these machines can cost as much as thousands of dollars. But you don't really need those expensive machines. You need you. Hey, your body is a machine! No matter where I find myself, I do my stretches in the morning along with my crunches and pushups. In fact, I've been following this routine for nine years now. I used to do them only a few times a week. But for the last nine years, I've been doing them seven days a week. I'm telling you, it's built into me now to do them everyday.I put on some music then hit the floor. I do front crunches and side crunches and I do lots of them. Then I turn over and do my pushups. I repeat this routine three times. It takes me about four songs to get them all done before I get up and dance over to the shower.

These two exercises, crunches and pushups, should be done everyday to keep your abs and chest strong. See, the older we get, the more strength we need. And not only do you feel like you've accomplished something after you've done this workout. You'll begin seeing a real difference in your body, too.

See, when you do crunches and pushups, you're pumping up your muscles. And you'll begin seeing some real definition in your body. Hey, I have a twelve-pack and Sports Illustrated calls me all the time. But, you know me, I'm not the type who likes to show off!You know how to do front and side crunches. I've done them in my workouts videos and DVDs. And we've also done pushups. Try starting out with eight of each. Eight front crunches, eight side crunches and eight pushups. And the next day, you should do the same. Then, as you continue, you'll discover your body getting stronger and that you're able to do even more of them. In fact, try to work your way up to doing ten sets every day. And within an eight-week period of following this routine, you'll be amazed at how many more you can do each day. Don't you think you deserve to carve the time into your mornings to get them done?

Now remember, you should always do your crunches and pushups on a soft surface like on the carpet or an exercise mat. Never put your lower back or your knees onto a very hard surface during your workouts. So whatta you say? Start today! Do this routine with your spouse or your children. Hey, teach your dog how to do them! LOL. But seriously, get that body of yours into doing this routine. It's gonna make you look and feel so-o-o-o good!Love,
