Guest guest
THANK YOU! Tuesday, 05 January 2010 Well, I'm back in Los Angeles after a really nice trip to Philadelphia to appear on QVC. Can you believe I've been going to QVC for over two decades now? (I started going when I was only 14 years-old. LOL.) But seriously... I remember the QVC studio when it was only one simple little revolving stage. Now the studio is the size of a small city! I just love working with the hosts they give me on air like , Pat and Rick. I've worked with all of the hosts at QVC and they're really just such terrific people. But this is more of a thank you note from me to all of you. Thank You for always being so supportive and watching me when I appear on QVC. Thank you for your phone calls when you call in to talk to me while I'm on air. I love to greet everyone on the phone and offer each of them some of my personal one-on-one motivation. And I thank you for exercising to my Sweatin' To The Oldies workouts for all of these years. They were all so much fun to make. I remember all of the choreography from each of them. And every time I hear the music from one of my Sweatin' DVDs playing on the radio, I start to dance! Oh yes, I'm talking from the little "tweet-tweets" in Rockin' Robin to the "crying" from It's My Party! I've loved all the years I've been traveling around the country teaching my Sweatin' classes. In fact, I grew up on all of the music from my Sweatin' series. Those songs are just in my blood! When I'm on QVC, I just love when they scroll on the screen the names of all the songs you hear in my Sweatin' series. I love to sing a little bit of each song as the titles scroll by. (And I know some of you just laugh and laugh at my singing as you're sitting there watching.) When I'm on QVC, I look right into the camera as I'm speaking but you know what? I'm also looking beyond the camera lens and "seeing" you! I see you sitting there looking at me as I reach out to you. And my hope is that I can give each of you the confidence you need to take better care of yourselves.Every day, I receive E-mails from people who work out to some of my videos or DVDs. They tell me how good they feel when they finish working out to one of them. And many of the people I hear from also share a weight-loss success story with me. They tell me how doing my workouts helped them lose weight.Well, I have to tell you, they really put me on Cloud Nine with those kinds of great stories. I mean, who would have guessed that this fat kid from New Orleans, selling pralines on the street corners of the French Quarter, would end up dedicating his life to helping people lose weight and feel good about themselves? And oh, what an honor it has been for me to work out with them, meaning...you! So Thank You all, again, for the love you've given me since my General Hospital days way back in the late 1970s. Thank You for sweatin', toning and stretching with me all of these years. It has been a real pleasure for me and I hope that here in 2010...we'll sweat together...again!Love,
