Guest guest
Thanks, Liliann! I hope you feel better soon. It's hard to watch what you eat when you're sick and miserable, but I have faith in you. Take good care of yourself and get well soon. Hugs, Kay liliannb012 wrote: Wow, 11 Lbs!! Guest guest
For those of you who have succumbed to the crud that's going around, I hope you get well soon! Be sure you stay hydrated. A woman in Oklahoma died from the flu, and it was because she was dehydrated. It can come on you fast, so be sure to drink your water. OK. Enough Mom talk. Hi Kay - Congrats on your lbs lost this past month!! My DS17 got a cold, had been fighting it for several days and finally had to take a couple of days off school to just sleep and get over it. I know what you mean about the dehydration. I kept on him quite a bit: drink water, juice, take your medicine (nyquil type stuff), rest, etc. Thankfully, he got over it quickly. Hope he's finally feeling better. Too bad about the track meet, though, after all that training. >I know what you mean about the dehydration.? I kept on him quite a bit:? drink water, juice, take your medicine (nyquil type stuff) I was debating whether or not to go back to the doc with this thing, even though I was just there last Monday, then remembered the last time this happened and I went he told me to keep doing what I was doing, taking the meds I already had, so I'm not going to bother. I just hate that the " rescue " inhaler, the one I have to take every 4 hours as needed when this crud hits, raises my blood pressure, counteracting the other med I'm taking to lower it. I'm trying *not* to take it but sometimes I just have to, especially at bed time. Thank goodness the rehab place is air conditioned (still - it goes off and the heat goes on in 2 weeks), keeping the air clean so I can breathe and not cough during my workouts.
