<<Plus I really get tired of the same foods over & over, so I

Maybe going over some recipe sites will give you some other variety?

My own favorites can be found at:

I like Skwiggs page of what she eats:

http://skwigg.tripod.com/wow/id3.html

And more recipes here at mrs bishwits:

ANd of course the new BFL recipe book - coming out soon but you can

see a sneak peak here:

Well, the other thing is that my fiancee and I live together. He is

very picky and doesn't have to worry about his weight so much, which

makes it hard during supper time! But I'm trying to get him to come

around and I try to not eat as much at supper.

Thanks for the info!

  • 5 years later...

Good morning all,

I wanted to stop by and introduce myself.. I am 38, a stay at home mom of three,

2 boys 19 and 4 and one daughter 16. I have been over weight all my life, but

have reached my all time high of 333.4 as of last Wed. I chose WW as my plan,

mainly because I know it works for me. I weight yesterday and was down to 326.

Not a bad week at all. I have start walking, try a mile a day, but the past two

have made two, one in the morning and one at night. I do the weight watchers at

home, I had done it about five years ago so I already had the stuff. I can't go

to the meetings, but I at least can find groups like this one for support. I

have to start my water intake this week. but have already starting watching

servings..

Not to much more to tell. I am an emotional eater, last night we had a support

meating for weight lost at the church and I was asked to go weigh altho I

already had at the health dept, that is where I weight in, any way it hurt me

that the scales wouldn't weigh me, altho I knew they wouldn't and then the ladie

over the meeting asked me twice in front of everyone what it said.. anyway I

came home and ate two chicken nuggets, a bit of pork chop and a spoon of

potatoes, I wasn't hungry just upset. but that was last night. I didn't go over

points but still that is something I have to really work on..

Well never ment to write a book.

Thanks for having me

Hello & Welcome Betty Jo!

This is a great group and I'm sure you'll enjoy the time you

spend here. Congrat's on the loss so far - great job.

I'm so sorry to hear what happened at your church. That was

totally uncalled for. In the future you should tell them that you WI at the

health dept. and that's all there is to it. No one should call you out like

that! Terrible stuff! I suspect if you had told her off, you might not have

come home and eaten. However, it was wonderful that you contained the

emotional eating.

Hugs,

Babette

Hi, Betty Jo!Welcome to the group! I'm relatively new here, myself. I'm

Kay. I'm 61 and live in Oklahoma with my adopted granddaughter, who is

7. I've just started on this lifestyle adventure and have lost 5 pounds

in three weeks. I won't know how I did this past week until Friday

morning. I go to my doctor's office to weigh in.

Best wishes on your adventure and congratulations on the weight you've

already lost.

Hugs,

Kay

Welcome, Betty Jo.

There are a number of ladies here who use WW, both the in-home and in

person ones.

> I weight yesterday and was down to 326. Not a bad week at all.

Congrats!

> I have start walking, try a mile a day,

I'm currently going to cardiac rehab 3 x weekly and they go by time, not

mileage (They even covered up the space on the machines that give the

distance). Yesterday I was bumped up to the following:

treadmill - 10 minutes @ 2.5 mph

hand crank 5 min. @ #3 (of 20) resistance

bike - 10 min @ medium resistance

treadmill #2 - another 10 @ 2.5

I think next week they're adding the rowing machine. I can't walk any

longer than 10 min @ a time because of hte plantar fasciitis in my left

foot. By the time I get off the tread the second time I'm noticeably

limping and in pain.

> Not to much more to tell. I am an emotional eater,

Probably most of here are, too. :(

>and I was asked to go weigh altho I already had at the health dept,

weigh me, altho I knew they wouldn't

Next meeting just tell them that you *only* weigh at the doctor's office

and he doesn't want you weighing in any more than that because it might

trigger an eating disorder. " Doctor's orders " usually shuts people up.

> Well never ment to write a book.

Oh, sometimes I write a lore than this. Write away. :)
