> I guess I will always feel a little hungry, but I just reason with

myself saying, 'you're not starving to death you can wait'. I do kind of

worry if I'm feeling hunger pangs pre-workout. I've passed out at a gym

before from not eating prior to my workout and that ain't funny.

If it's been 4 hours since your last meal then you *need* to eat

something before burning off a few hundred calories' worth doing

exercise! Something small, like a whole grain fruit bar, or even a piece

of fruit.

Hmm, I see you already have a snack at 3:30. Why not save this for the

drive to the gym, or eat half at work and the rest before the gym, if

you can't afford any more calories?

> If I didn't despise celery so much I'd keep that to munch on while on

the road to the gym but I hate it.

How about some dried fruit, or some granola, or a baggie of dry cereal

to munch on in the car as you drive?

>I'll have my little energy drink while on the tread, that has a little

bit of protein in it.

What's the caffeine content? Stay away from any " energy " drink with

stimulants, as they'll lower your blood sugar instead of raising it to

normal levels.

>Post-Workout: OW! Ouch!! Owwieeeeeee!!!!!!!! I only did a mile tonight,

my right leg is killing me. I KNOW it's just fatigue and I need to work

though it

Are you sure? I have arthritis in the spine and besides the neuritis in

my neck I have sciatica in the lower half, and lately those

Sansone videos just trigger the pain so much that within 5 minutes my

right hip is so painful I can barely stand. Treadmill walking uses

different leg movements and less impact so it's not *that* bad, but if I

increase the incline too much it's just as much force as the Sansone

videos. Once that pain hits it takes a few hours with the heating pad

before it goes away and I'm sore for at least a day afterwards.

Just mention this to the doc next time you go. It *might* be something

as simple as unworked muscles or could be as complex as a blood clot in

the leg.
