What's working for me

My sister recommended http://www.thedailyplate.com/ for noting down what

I eat. I'm much more likely to keep up a food diary online, so this is

working well for me. The best part is that it's free. I've been using it

for nearly a week, and I've really started paying attention to what I

eat. There's a database where I can look up the things I eat which makes

it easy to keep a calorie count. My niece has lost 60 pounds using this

method.

Also, my doctor's nurse said I can come into the office and weigh myself

every week, so I'm going to start on Friday afternoon. I'll see how I've

done since I weighed at her office about two weeks ago.

Today I have a terrible sore throat and a cough, but have managed to

stay on my food plan. I'm proud of myself for not using it as an excuse

to overeat. Ordinarily, I'd be gobbling down comfort food.

Just wanted to share the baby steps I'm taking on this journey. I hope

you are all well and happy. Thanks for the inspiration and support.

Hugs,

Kay
