Guest guest
I recently ran into a former co-worker who was easily 100 pounds overweight and, like me, her problem area was the gut. I haven't seen her in five years but ran into her about two weeks ago. She looked FANTASTIC. Not only had she lost all the weight but her entire body was tight and trim-- including her belly. Don't get me wrong-- her gut area is not " perfect, " she can't pose in a bikini contest. But, for someone in their forties who used to be so overweight -- holy cow, what a transformation! She is 45 and looks 25! She exudes healthy energy and a positive attitude -- just amazing. So of course I asked how she did it and she used a diet almost exactly like what I am already doing and a program called ChaLEAN Extreme. This program is on DVDs and is supposed to mimic having a personal trainer. Basicaly, it is weight training three times a week with interval training for cardio two days a week, and two days off. It is a 90 day program. My old friend did one 90 day stretch, took a break for a month and used other exercise, then went back for a second 90 day round. In just under 8 months, she lost over 100 and looks 20 years younger. It is a tough program. You need to have already been exercising for awhile before you endeavor it. She said she couldn't perform some of the exercises the first go-round, so she just improvised and kept pushing herself until she could do it by the second time around. To make a long story short I went ahead and ordered the program. It is supposed to arrive by Saturday. I'll look over the materials and probably get started on Monday. I'll let you know of my experiences with it. Lori-Ann
