An update on . I brought him home yesterday at 5 pm. He must wear

the hard collar 24/7 for about 3 months, limited stairs (once up and

down per day). Pain meds as needed. He has to be so careful walking

because he can't look down. We finally had a fair night's sleep after

I gave him some pain meds I had left from another event. Will have to

get his script filled first thing this am. I'm so glad he's

home.....He will be with my daughter Gretchen and sil for the

weekend while I'm at the Gathering. Thank you all for your thoughts

and prayers.

See you Saturday,

Jeanine

So glad to see that is home. I bet he feels better just being

there! You tell him that there are lots of us out here in cyberspace

pulling for him that he makes a speedy recovery. LOL, just tell him

to take his time! :)

I'm so glad to hear that came home. I feel awful that he has to

wear that horrible collar in this hot hot weather. Be sure to keep tabs

on him because he's going to be very tempted to take it off with this

awful humidity. I can't even imagine having one of those on and for 3

months!! But he's a very lucky man that he came through it all OK

without being paralyzed.

You have fun at the Gathering. I'm sure your daughter and SIL will take

good care of him. You need to relax and have fun with the girls!!
