That reminds me of when I was working registry and worked in an acute, locked-down psychiatric unit. There was a lady there that told me that she gets these episodes where the stresses in life get too much and she becomes " suicidal " , and gets to take a " vacation from life " for at least 3 days. She had done this numerous times. I thought that was an interesting approach. I truely don't think she was REALLY suicidal, but just has poor coping skills dealing with stress. Obviously it was a cry for help, and obviously going about it in the wrong method. Maybe it's the only way she can get psychiatric care. It's a good thing I'm not a psych therapist. I was there as a " body " that could give medications. (They also like me there because fewer people wanted to challange me when they were " acting out " .) Guest guest
I think the feeling of wanting to run away is quite normal - yeah I know, I few of you will say " I never want to run away " - but most of us would like a break from life on occasion - think about all the songs written about running away. I think that is why we have vacations. I would love to go away on vacation by myself one day - I think that is the closest I will ever get to running away! Guest guest
I am so jealous! I have had a cough/cold thing where I lost my voice for a week now. I'm getting flabby because every breath causes a coughing fit. What did you eat to get 35 grams all at once? Does it work if you eat it all at one time?
