I'm confused, it sounds like you are making a case for vaccines?

Uh, 448,000 people do not die in the US from measles, and if they did, wouldn't

that tell you that vaccinations are not working! It's possible that 448,000 die

WORLD WIDE, but I still would question that number totally.

I am the mother of two vaccine injured chidlren, one is a life long injury, so

you're not likely to tell me that vaccines are safe............

Hello,

I just joined up last week but haven't had time to write my intro. I

have a 19 month old boy who I unfortunately started to vaccinate - all

the way up to 12 months. While I was pregnant I had really questioned

vaccines and their safety/necessity, had red Romm's book on

Vaccinations, intereviewed 5 doctors with this as the most pivitol

question. However, after Valor came - PPD showed up. Not to put all

the blame on that... all the doctors I had intereviewed had really

scared me about not vaccinating. ..and I couldn't convince my husband.

So we started them at 2 months.

Well, over that year I got involved with a local Weston Price chapter

and started to have my eyes opened more and more. Finally I decided to

re-investigate and that is when I found Dr. Tenpenny's videos. Most of

the info I head read in the book. But it was the last part of her first

video about (CDC & what their doc. reveal) about what is put into these

vaccines besides the diseases that really got me. I was crying for my

son, for me and for all the kids out there that get these vaccines. Why

is it as a human race we think we can continually inject and/or expose

ourselves to such harmful substances and think we will never be affected

by them? Is it pride, ignorance? What is it???

Anywho, I am now on a mission to share all this info with my friends -

and most have been open to it. They might not listen for themselves,

but when you put it in the context of their kids...they are interested.

My question is this: I obviously have heard what our side has to say

about the myths of the vaccine industry. But I really wanted to read

some more from the CDC...just to see what they are saying. I have found

a few things that truly just blow my mind... something about how people

are still getting measles today and 488,000 or so people die from it

every year. Or how about the following - which really blows my mind.

I had to read it serveral times to understand what they are saying,

which I really don't:

Vaccines have been so successful in preventing disease in the U.S. that

in recent years, the annual number of reports to VAERS have exceeded the

total number of reports of routine childhood vaccine-preventable

disease. This may lead some people to believe that the vaccines are

dangerous. However, based on the very large numbers of data collected

nationwide through the various data systems, the risk of a serious

adverse reaction to an immunization is extremely small. The risk of the

disease itself is substantially more serious than the risk of the

immunization. The risks of specific vaccines are posted on the CDC

National Immunization Program home page, which you can access by

clicking here.

Anywho, if any of you can share what information from the CDC or AAP you

come up against the most in defending to your friends why you don't

vaccinate, that would be helpful in my research.

Thanks,

Holli

I don't think she was a making a case to vaccinate but she had copied and pasted

something she didn't understand... that's what I got out of it anyways. I think

the C & P'ed started at the " : " and the next paragraph. Perhaps she had it

differently in her orginal email and didn't realize that this group strips away

all formatting...

BTW, Holly, I'm glad your eyes have been opened :D

I can't answer your question, although I'm sure there are others here that can.

I don't think she is making a case for vaccines either. Really, it

is confusing.....at first. At first you study up on vaccines and

your eyes do start opening up to the truths and the lies behind it

and you feel 100% sure that you will make the right decision by not

vaccinating your children. Then you go to the doctor's office for

the first visit and with all his fancy statistics and scare

tacticts, your self confidence suddenly shrinks. We have heard our

entire lives how vaccines are the greatest gift to mankind so it

really is hard to change your mind set, even though it eventually

does happen because the truth always wins.

Even when you do feel 100% in not vaccinating and someone comes to

know it, you get attacked. I don't know why people take it so

personally. So it is nice to have plenty of information that you

can use to defend your choices.

As far as VAERS goes, remember that the number of adverse reactions

that get recorded there are a very small percentage of the actual

number (I think like 1-10% of actual cases.) Most people don't

report them or their doctors don't. Vaccines never take the blame

for killing any children either, it seems whenever an infant dies

they conveniantly blame it on SIDS.

As far as 448,000 people dying from measles each year......that is

in fact world wide, and keep some things in mind. First of all,

that is a very small percentage of the billions of people in this

world. Also, how do we really know that these people actually died

from measles and not something else, does everyone who dies get an

autopsy?....no. And, could be that many of these people were NOT

children, but teens or adults or elderly, where the disease can be

more dangerous. Plus, were these people who died of measles already

sick in some other way? Maybe with HIV or some other immune

deficiency disease?

As far as vaccines and diseases and statistics go, we also have to

realize something else. Doctors from different countries, for

reasons of culture or just the way they were trained, diagnose

illnesses differently. What I'm saying is, Diptheria might be

called Diptheria by your doctor if you lived in Bengladesh or

Somalia, but it would probably be called just a sore throat if you

lived in the U.S. Same goes for many diseases (even non vax

related.) I read about this study once where doctors from many

different countries looked at exact same autopsies and other

information about a number of deceased persons and doctors from the

U.S. were many more times likey to say that the cause of death was

heart attack, doctors from Japan, instead, called it a stroke, and

docs from other countries gave even other reasons....

Hope this helps.

Hi ,

Oh gosh no...I am just wondering how these people can get away telling such

falsehoods. I was just saying that in the little I researched the other side

today, that I found such off the wall comments (like the 488,00 - you said

exactly what I was thinking) . I just like to be a well researched person so

when I do talk with other people I know both sides and can defend the reason not

to vaccinate.

Sorry if you thought otherwise...I am really sad I vaccinated at all and I am

sorry for you and your children. I am on your side and totally will do anything

I can to help other parents and children avoid the dangers of vaccines.

Sorry to have confuse every one so much already. I am NOT defending

vaccines...I wished I had never started vaccinating my son and had

found out all this info before hand.

My question (kind of rhetorical) by putting that info out there is how

can the CDC, AAP and others get away with saying such incredulous

stuff as facts. It just really blows my mind. In regards to the

measles nubmer, that to me tells me that vaccines don't work. If they

did, then people wouldn't contract it at that rate.

Thanks for your clarification Vida...I didn't know that about docs

reporting same thing differently.

Holli you shouldn't have to apologize for anything. I think it is

good that you look at both sides and then make your own decision.

It's great that you realize that you do have a decision in the

matter (cause most people don't,) and I think that is the reason why

everyone is here in this group.....cause after examining both sides,

we all made our own choices about vaccinations.
