I was taking allergy shots once a week for a few yrs. and they did nothing.

As a matter of fact I got worse. My arm at site of injection would itch and

burn every week & didn't really help my symptoms but the Dr. told me it might

take yrs. I continued to have allergy/respiratory problems but then after a

few yrs. other things started to develope that were far worse. Severe chest

pain that required a hospital stay & a heart cath. All testing proved that

my heart was in excellent condition & was told it must be stress. So, I was

given an antidepressant/anxiety medication. Months later I began having

muscle/joint pain, muscle twitches, slurred speech, blurred vision,

debilitating

headaches, coma like fatigue, stabbing leg pains, excessive thirst, memory

loss,

etc.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shoemaker's for almost two yrs. now and am

feeling much better. Since leaving my school I haven't had one allergy shot or

pill, no antidepressants, and haven't even had a common cold! I honestly

believe the allergy shots were making me feel worse. Even though I am allergic

to pollens, dust, trees, etc. I haven't had any problems and will never put

myself through that again!!

Has anyone tried Moducare. This is a suppliment that is supposed to regulate

your immune system. I was just wondering if it would calm it down a bit. Get

those cytokines under some type of control. Loni

My gut feeling is that eliminating the poison (i.e. mold avoidance,

effective home remediations, or a binding strategy like CSM) would be the

only way to effect a real, long-term cure.. There are

harm-reduction/protection strategies, but mycotoxins are SO strong..

When I took my green binoculars to a pristine location, tested them -

and got a reaction from just one possession taken from a

contamination zone, my decision was made.

Even if a place could possibly be remediated to the point of no

discernable reaction, I could never feel safe there again.

It would never leave my mind that somehow, some way, some low level

that I might not perceive was still dragging me down.

I would always have to wonder if elswhere, I might feel just a bit

better, have more energy, more fun.

More life.

Thanks Quack, I'm sure you're right. Just thought it might be an something to

add to the strategy. It was prescribed for my leaky gut that I am sure now was

due to mold poisoning. I think last exposure must have made some huge holes in

the gut because I lost almost 20 lbs this time. Loni
