Guest guest
Exactly . They will be uncomfortable for three weeks, maybe, by getting the measles, and if they were in good health (to my understanding) before the measles, will end up fine. I'm shocked that the other day my daughter brought home a flier advertising FREE vaccinations at her school. These were given by school nurses and health dept. nurses who came to the school --- does this not seem like literal drug pushing? To boot, what happens if a child goes into shock or has a horrid reaction to one of these vaccines at school? Then what? And get this -- I picked up my Armour Thyroid medication from Walgreen's and guess who is now giving out vaccinations --- NO KIDDING. http://gettingbacktonatural.blogspot.com/2007/04/get-your-vaccinations-at-walgre\ ens.html <betta5@...> wrote: I've been reading the tetnus thread and it does seem to be the knee jerk reaction of the medical professionals to automatically vaccinate anyone who comes down with a disease. I live in Florida and 3 people have recently come down with the measels. It caused a panic reaction like little I have seen. It was a university student so automatically all staff were notified and told that the student was strongly encouraged to stay off campus until either he was not contagious OR until he recieved the vaccination. WHY WOULD YOU VACCINATE someone who already has the disease? My son's preschool also sent out warnings saying to make sure your child's vaccinations are up to date (children who had no contact with this student). It was also suggested that any adult who was not vaccinated should be... We even received this message twice because my boss sent out a personal note saying to make sure we were " protected " . I have yet to see a notification (news or otherwise) that any of the 3 people suffered complications from the measels or died.
