The anthrax vaccine does not shed. IMHO as for " precautions " - I'd get his

immune system built up as much as possible. Be on the lookout for a few of

these factors which may (or may not) indicate something else is going on more

severe WRT systemic adverse reactions:

malaise, fatigue, fever/chills, flu-like symptoms, sore muscles, achy joints

and headache. Watch for ALL these symptoms after each of these shots.

He is deploying to Iraq. He had the smallpox vaccination 3 yrs ago and it is

good till 2013 but he had not had the Anthrax.

That's interesting because my husband is due for yet another Hep B shot soon and

since my son is unvaxxed, I'd rather my husband did not get it. Can you tell me

more about him opting out? THanks

He's in the full time national guard if it matters.

No, they CANNOT opt out - they will be punished & /or discharged.

Only at the very beginning can you sometimes get a religious exemption, but

have to start at the beginning before any other vaccines.
