Guest guest
So. Last night, I decided to get out Debbie (Slim in 6) and did the full level 1. The other day I bailed half way through, remember. Made my daily APs come to 8 and I had 9459 steps for the day. Whew. Next week, I'll dust off level 2 and move to that level. I probably could have this week, but since I haven't done it in so long figured it was a good idea to re-familiarize myself with the moves. Then I decided to *watch* the Belly Dancing DVD. I *might* be able to make some of those moves LOL but I am going to note to self to LOCK my bedroom door when I do this. Or be sure the kids are GONE. I hate when they walk in on me working out. They make fun of me. Jerks. (( sorry, but it's true )) Anyway. So,I am really *not* a slacker as much as I try to pawn off on here. That's why it's good to keep a VICTORY calendar that shows when and what you do for exercise. Really, I have only taken off Wednesday this week for exercise (so far) and we don't *have* to exercise 7 days a week. Maybe we should do "something" every day, but we don't have to be hard core. I know I will get something in today and then tomorrow is "you know". LOL!! 7 mile day, baby, 7 miles!! I have eaten popcorn for dinner the last two nights. I am totally serious here!! It's what I wanted. I don't know why, but it is. Hey, the fiber can't be hurting me either LOL!! TGIF today friends. Woke up to birds chirping and that was neat. It was fairly decent weather-wise all day. My co-workers and I have been walking on our morning break outside now that it is getting nicer. We sort of stop in the winter when it gets too crummy outside. Even though we *can* walk in the parking garage, we don't like to because that is where the smokers go to stay out of the weather. YUK! Nothing worse than being outside to get some fresh air and exercise and have to walk through a parking level of smokers. I was noticing in my mirror this morning that my face is skinner. Dang, the girl's got cheek bones again! WOW! We have a radio station that has a contest on sometimes called "Sing For Your Supper" and they will have you sing a portion of a song and then you win a gift card or something to a restaurant for dinner out. So, today is my late day at work. I *have to* stay until 5 p.m. on Fridays, no ifs, ands or buts, ya know? So, if I am going to be over in my time for the week, then I have to sort of make things work out by taking a 1 hr lunch, etc... Anyway, so today I knew I would have 45-60 minutes to kill for lunch and it was a relatively nice day today, so I pull up www.mapmyrun.com and am looking at locations of various <healthy> food joints around and how far I think I can walk and be back with food in that amount of time LOL!! So, I walked 35 minutes total (had to figure 10 minutes downtime for traffic lights and ordering food too) so must have gone close 1.5-2 miles. Nice. Brought the food back and ate at my desk while I did my month-end report for the client. I went to Pita Pit - do you have those around you? Or is it local to me? I have no clue, but it was yummy. I had a turkey, bacon, avocodo (sp?) on a pita with select veggies. No cheese. Just didn't sound like it needed it to pull from the other flavors. I had to guess my points on it, but that's ok. I figure going 7 miles tomorrow will counter today's eating. I am not too hungry, so I had popcorn again tonight. I don't think I would call it dinner, just a snack <wink> Anyway, glad the week is over. Our pollen count is pretty steep today and tomorrow. I also got excited today. I realized the lilacs should start blooming in the next couple of weeks. I love the colors of them. The smell gets to me though. It's been so cold I don't know if that will push out blooming. Hopefully by May 17th. That's Armed Forces Day (thank you to all our troops) and Spokane has an Armed Forces Torchlight Parade and since this *is* The Lilac City, they theme the parade around that. I haven't taken the kids for several years, so am thinking of doing that this year. It's neat to see all of the floats and stuff lit up after the sun goes down. Hope you all had a great day, I'll be playing catch up this weekend, as always. in WA310/253.2/170 (-56.8 total, 83.2 to go, 13.2 from half-way point) I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it! -Art Need a new ride?
