Dear Lord - next weekend is Memorial Day weekend!! ALREADY!! Are you ready for the start of summer?

Don't let yet *another* holiday derail your efforts!! Make a plan. Most exercise centers will be closed that day (if not more, like the whole weekend) so find out and make alternative plans if necessary.

Sure, there will be BBQs and picnics, but you don't have to go all out and overboard. Skinny down your recipes where you can and if you can't, skinny down your portions!!

I've already been slacking for 2 weeks, so cannot (and will not) accept more status quo through the holiday week. And, my baby turns 12 the weekend after that, so it's going to be a busy time.

Summer is planned! I am going to buy a bus pass and walk/bus to work for the 2.5-3 months to save on my fuel costs. Plus, get more exercise in walking to/from busses and stuff.

I was officially done with Curves as of the 15th - now I need to make the most out of summer like I planned! I will take a break from the "gym" for the summer and get my exercise in the outdoors and via videos, on my trampoline, bike and stepper. Then, I will contact the new gym in the fall when the weather turns and it's time to be indoors again. The only thing I will miss is the summer water aerobics, but that's ok. I can do that in the fall <wink> because you can do that 6 days a week at this gym, in addition to the indoor track, cardio classes and stuff.

I've got 5 months until Phantom. At 5 lbs a month, I can be 20 lbs lighter *at least*.... could aim for more, too..... ohhhhh onward and downward!
