Guest guest
"Goddess" is a term referring to a woman admired for her great beauty. But beauty is only skindeep and finding your authentic self is where one begins the search for "inner" beauty. The Selfburied beneath many layers of pretense and guise is who you really are, not the image you portrayto society and peers in order to appear "proper". Images are created out of the fear of not beingaccepted for who we really are. Only self-acceptance gives one the FREEDOM and the COURAGE toenjoy themselves and others wholly without judgment. When all judgment is suspended, one feelsfree to fly with the faeries. A woman who knows her own heart loves unconditionally and aids others in finding all the goodnessin themselves so they may learn self-love. A Goddess understands the feelings of others andlistens to their spirits with compassion and understanding. She knows all others as herself andfinds joy in the wonders of living. All things are sacred to her and unworthiness is not a part ofher being. To be worthy and fit means to try to be cleansed of the blocks, complexes, unhealthyfears and anger we hold onto. Being worthy means becoming our truly human selves, who we areNATURALLY; for in our natural state we become a clear channel of the Goddess's love and energy.Your Goddess speaks to you as a dreamer and a poet and trusts in magic and in needing inspiration.Every Goddess also finds the energy of her male counterpart, or her own inner God. This isreferred to as Self-fire, the part of you that is wild and free. It is primal and passionate. Itis the desire for sexual fulfillment, heightened pleasure and sensuality. It is your ALTAR; thecosmic flow of life! A GODDESS: Believes in herself and never attempts to adopt or imitate the identity of another. She knows herown authentic self. Never feels the need to correct the behavior of those around her. Intuitivelyshe knows there's work to be done on herself. Doesn't falsify who she is in order to place herselfin what she refers to as a "higher class". She knows that in nature there are no distinguishing ofclasses. There just IS. Respects all others as equals and accepts that they choose to live theirlives according to their own beliefs about themselves. Doesn't feel the need to CONTROL. Sheunderstands the process of ALLOWING stimulated by her desires. This, she knows, is her MAGIC. Willdraw many people and relationships to her because of her magnetic appeal. Those around her knowshe has much to offer. Never makes assumptions. Always does her best. Knows the difference betweenhealthy and unhealthy fear. Accepts responsibility for herself and her actions and knows theproblem doesn't ALWAYS lie with others. Learns to look upon problems through the eyes of love, notthrough the eyes of fear. Avoids situations and people who attempt to block her FLOW! She remainstrue to herself! Finds her Goddess given creative talents and expresses them with ease. Is anouter _expression of an inner condition. Will never feel the need to protect herself from life'sexperiences. She trusts her own process. Never makes others feel less than she in order to gain afalse sense of security. Faces all her "demons" and loves herself anyway. Knows that in the lightof forgiveness comes the wisdom of understanding. Realizes that guilt is a means of destruction, not reparation. Understands the real meaning of the word "redemption" . Regards herself as anintensely sexual being and knows that this is a Blessed gift. Loves all of nature and believes itis a Sacred Manifestation of Spirit where all things are interconnected. Uses knowledge as a tool, not a weapon. Knows that each person must find their own way. Does not believe in an absolute goodor evil, but instead contemplates and seeks out a balance in the interplay between light and dark.Knows that in order to spread light, she must first become the light. A Goddess whispers the songof the Moon in the Knowledge of herself. Kim Cresson THE GODDESS' BEST BEAUTY TIP"Love is a great beautifier." --Louisa May AlcottAurora, Goddess of the Dawn shares her trademark beauty secret; the morning's dew. This is a spellespecially potent on May Day. In the early hours of the dawn, seek out a flowerbed, abundant with daisies or jasmine, or a fieldof lush wildflowers, all kissed with dew. Kneel near the flowers facing the Auroras glow in theeast. Then, at the very moment her rays of light appear over the horizon, caress your cheeks, lips, nose, and forehead gently with the flowers' petals without using your hands. As you feel thedew anoint your face, say aloud: Aurora's nectar, radiant dew Blessed by the morning light so new As the sun shines in the skies May my beauty light my lover's eyes. So shall it be.I AM MEIn all the world, there is no one else exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me isauthentically mine because I alone choose it. I own everything about me. My body, my feelings, mymouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or to myself. I own my fantasies, mydreams, my hopes, my fears. I own all my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes.Because I own all of me, I can become intimately acquainted with me. By so doing I can love me andbe friendly with me in all my parts. I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, andother aspects that I do not know. But as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I cancourageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and for ways to find out more aboutme. However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel in any givenmoment in time is authentically mine. If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought andfelt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest, and inventsomething new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel, think, say and do. I have thetools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of theworld of people and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore I can engineer me. I AM ME and IAM OKAY!
