Guest guest
> > Hi All -- > I wanted to share that I am starting another new start to this weightloss journey. Or rather I should say to a healthier lifestyle. Wanted to say good luck on your new start. While I am concerned about that number on the scale -- it isn't my primary motive for changing my lifestyle. I am an overweight, 47- year old diabetic with high blood pressure. . I can totally relate. My mother was a very bad diabetic. She passed away when she was 54. I am 46 yo now. I do not have diabetes but I also know that I have more likely to get it the older I get unless I manage to lose some of the weight I am carrying around. All my other siblings are also diabetic and overweight. It does play a factor/health risk. As a nurse, I also know that losing the weight can control diabetes. So again I say good luck I think you are looking at it with the right attitude. Hugs, Trish > For those that don't know, my husband is a pastor/missionary and > December is one of our busiest This was good to hear. I am planning on going into the mission field in a couple of years. I will add you both to my prayers. God Bless, Trish
Guest guest
Trish --Another thing that is helping with my attitude is that I am focusing on what good habits I can add to my life to have a healthier lifestyle. At this time, I am not going to focus on getting rid of the bad habits. My goal is that at some point, I will have more good habits than bad.
