I had lost some weight and then I got pregnant and had a beautiful boy in March. Before I got pregnant I was about 280 pounds and I weighed 320 on delivery day. I have been at about 300 since a month after his birth. After Thanksgiving I started watching my calories, keeping them between 1000 and 1500 depending on my activity for the day. I was 303 and I am down to 284 now. I always seem to do good in the beginning and then I start to get misled. One of my hardest things to resist is my husband. He don't like anything healthy, so cooking for him is always hard when I am on a diet. He always has candy, cookies, ice cream, chips, and more around the house. As everyone knows its not good to have junk food around period. But so far I have been eating healthy and keeping away from the junk. I try to keep telling myself I want be healthy, expecially for my baby. He has been a lot of my modivation. I would love to get down to 150 pounds but I am just going to aim for 250 right now. I was hoping that I would be down to that by spring. I am glad I found this group I hope it helps me stay motivated and talk to other woman going thourgh the same struggles.
