LOL... sheepish grin!!

I just *had* to post the Couch article here. I bought the book "100 Days of Weight Loss" book by Spangle. She also wrote the book "Life is Hard, Food is Easy" and I might look into that one also this next year.

I know, I know. When does little ol' -girl have time to read?? I don't, but what is going to <maybe> take the back-burner is some more of my internet time. I need to quit sitting on my tush for so long in the evenings mindlessly surfing the web and/or blogging LOL!!

Like the article states: being on your feet all day is not exercise. Well, neither is sitting on my tush. I figured out that part of why I haven't done a lot weight loss-wise the past 10 weeks is because I have been counting part of my TRU time as exercise-time and not all of it is true activity. So, I have been in the status quo.

Status quo won't work any longer. I don't know where 2008 is going to take me yet, I haven't even begun to look at all of my goals and dreams, but this is going to be a big year, I can just feel it, in a lot of ways.

I've got my V-I-C-T-O-R-Y calendar ready to go. There are (6) lines on each day on the calendar, so I know I can get the following areas:

Vitamin(s) Water Fruit/Veggies Exercise Sleep - bed on time! TBD

I'm not sure what #6 will be.... to be determined. I thought about splitting up fruit/veggies to make the 6th LOL but those really *are* connected, so need to stay on the same line.

I've released what: 53 of 140 lbs - I just figured out tonight that means I am 1/3 of the way to my goal basically. For 2.5 years worth of this effort. I cannot and will not put a time limit on getting to goal. I just know that I *will* be closer to goal <wink> at the end of 2008!

OK, off to do more goal setting, etc. Merry Christmas again!
