(OT) I am walking for Breast Cancer....

Dear Friends and Family, Hey Everybody!

Just wanted to drop a line to ask for your support in my journey as I walk in the 3 Day Breast Cancer 60 mile walk in November. I have wanted to do this for a long time but never really thought I could make 60 miles in 3 days. Then I thought about the people I know (and even the people I DON'T know) that have survived breast cancer (and thought about those that have lost the battle to this awful disease) and I realized that I CAN and WILL do this walk. I have a few close people that I know that are in various stages of breast cancer, and my best friend in Arizona called me a couple of weeks ago and told me that she had just found out that a good friend of hers had recently been diagnosed. It is amazing to me how many people have been touched by breast cancer. Every time I mention that I am doing this walk, at least one person I am talking to knows someone who has had it. When my friend asked me if I wanted to walk with her, I didn't hesitate. (well, okay, I DID for about 3 seconds). In order to walk in this walk, I have to raise 2200.00. My goal is 5000.00. This is where you come in. If you follow the link at the bottom of this page, you can donate any amount you want. If you want to donate 5000.00 that would be perfect. Or 5.00 would be great, too. If you are unable to participate financilly, I would appreciate prayers for endurance and fellowship. (oh, and no blisters!!!)
