Guest guest
If they have a specific time that they are supposed to open and they don't, then that is a problem. You should definitely talk to the manager or Owner and tell them about the problem and see what happens. If nothing happens, then you should probably look into changing gyms or getting some equipment to use at home. It doesn't matter how good or clean their facility is if you can't get in to use it, right?! Hope that helps... in Wisconsin http://qwesteferral.com/r.jsp?a=Fmu9DBSgHpRfVU541Lz2HA$$ & x GRRRR! OK, this is rediculous. I went to the gym this morning and AGAIN there was no one there to open. This is the second time in a week that this has happened. What would you do. I would change gyms, but, truthfully, they have the best equipment are have the cleanest gym in town. Should I ask for some sort of discount? It is too early in my day to get this angry. Guest guest
Brett, Did you contact the manager the last time this happened? In any case I would call and make them aware that the gym is not being opened at the times they say they will. As you paid for a membership you are entitled to use the gym when it says it will be open. If they have a problem with their employees it is up to them to fix the problem, and it is the manager's responsibility to see the facility is available to members, even if that means the manager has to be the one to come in and open the place (something most managers hate to have to do). Guest guest
Brett; That was happening to me on W & Thursdays when a certain gym trainer just didn't feel like getting out of his nice warm bed I would definitely speak to management. I gave it a couple of weeks of making jokey kind of comments to see if he would get the point. That didn't work. Now he is on time and I dont feel bad as I wasn't the only one left standing at the door. JeAnne > If they have a specific time that they are supposed to open and they don't, then that is a problem. Maybe this is a case of an employee slacking off and the owner not being told about it? I'd definitely complain ans ask for some sort of discount if possible because you could not use the gym due to their fault on specific days due to them not opening the gym on time. Guest guest
Call the owner and say you need an adjustment on your bill. This would be fair: I would take my monthly fee and divide it by how many times you go a month and take that number and subtract it from the fee for each time they weren't there and you were. EX: So if you pay 24.00 /month and you go to the gym 24 times a month you would get 2 dollars off for the 2 times they weren't there. Obviously you pay more and tell them to take some $$$ off for the aggravation they caused you. Guest guest
You are right Pendleton (a few cities in between) now Twin Falls. It's a Golds and funny (NOT funny Ha, Ha) thing is that the owner comes in and opens. I have made a few comments, but I don't know him very well. I am going in again tonight and I will talk to the manager (who I know very well). I WILL at least get a t-shirt out of this. Brett in Idaho > > > OK, this is rediculous. Guest guest
So, after grumbling and hemming and hawing and dragging my toes - we went. Only to find out that my Personal Trainer QUIT with no notice. D'oh! Ah well. We got in a good workout anyway. SulaBlue

I haven't gotten caught up; however, is the gym doing anything quickly to replace him?? See what's free at AOL.com.
