Guest guest
Sigh. Up another 0.8 lbs. That's identical to last week. However, I am trying to stay calm and remember that it will take several weeks for my body to "get" that I'm exercising now. Especially, if I'm not drinking the water so it can process the fat. I did the WW one-point chili last night. I only made one change and that is to put more ground turkey in, because I bought the smallest package available and I'm not organized enough to remember that I would have more gd turkey in freezer. Turns out to have been a good idea since my daughter's friend ("NOT a boyfriend, just a friend that happens to be a boy" even though he once WAS the boyfriend) was visiting and he loved it. That and a 35-CENT box of Jiffy Cornbread and a bagged salad made for a wonderful meal. I'm throwing caution to the winds today. Even though we are not football fans in this house, it seemed like a good excuse to cook some spareribs. I'm going to eat them and enjoy them, and tomorrow it will be back to yogurt, rice cakes, fruit, hardboiled eggs and baked chix. Oh yes, and the gym (grin). Guest guest
Thanks, . We had the ribs and they were good, but we all kind of agreed that the gooey glaze was a little too sweet; DH -----Original Message-----From: 100-plus [mailto:100-plus ]On Behalf Of Jase04567@...Sent: Monday, February 05, 2007 4:11 AM100-plus Subject: Re: Weigh-in Eileen you are doing great. Guest guest
Fiddle. The computer has a mind of its own. Well fine. This early in the morning, I often don't. We all agreed that the ribs were good but the sauce was really sweet; we'd prefer something more like gravy. The main ingredients in this were molasses and orange juice. But, they were OK. It's just that EVERYTHING in the kitchen was icky-sticky by the time we got done 8^) I did remove some visible fat before eating these, but I know that I will need to behave myself the rest of the week. I had three 4-inch spareribs (don't even want to think about the points for that), and we have enough left for one more meal. Tonight will be spaghetti with 7% gd beef - a little healthier choice. I am starting the day with my MEDS, a banana and yogurt. I took some snacks into work yesterday - candy for the office dish, rice cakes, 100-cal snax, so I wouldn't have to manage that, my knitting, purse, and gym bag all on the bus today. I have a travel water bottle with ice chilling and my Starbucks mug is full of tea. I'm ready for another week! Good luck to everyone this week, even though da Bears fell down 8^( Eileen in OR -----Original Message-----From: 100-plus [mailto:100-plus ]On Behalf Of Jase04567@...Sent: Monday, February 05, 2007 4:11 AM100-plus Subject: Re: Weigh-in Eileen you are doing great.
