Guest guest
Congratulations, ! Awesome results, really - I can only imagine how proud and on-top-of-the-world you must feel - or is it anti-climactic? I mean, I feel really good right now, even though I know I have at least one more official challenge to go. The "end" won't really be the "end" for me - I already feel like a winner. I've never stuck with anything for 9 weeks (up until now). I hope you feel as good as I do (maybe even better!) and I hope you've got tons of people telling you how great you look - you deserve it. a "The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. Guest guest
Please unsuscribe me, thank you I DID IT Hello All , I made my first batch of soap yesterday . YES!!!!!!!!! I made HP and use some this morning . I love how it works and the scent . The thing that got to me was it turn out lumpy on the out side so it will do well for the house only . I am thinking may be I should learn to do CP . I want smooth looking bars and for them to start out white . I found that my batch was a light brown color. Also , did I do something wrong for it to turn out like that ? How do I make CP soap . I will try it today so I can test it out by the time we run out of this batch . http://community.webtv.net/stephanie179/sFa mily STEPHANIE'S FAMILY believerspeak-subscribe - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CFAITH - Your Online Faith Family - http://www.cfaith.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Guest guest
I've done this with Caty too, she never swallowed any, but came close a couple times. The dentist gave me some gauze to get a good hold of the tooth. Caty picked up on it and once when she had a really loose one, it must have been bugging her and she took me to the cabinet and got out the gauze and handed it to me. It's so funny, because she's so bad at the dentist....won't sit in the seat, has to be sedated to do any work, etc. But she has no qualms of ME pulling a tooth, doesn't mind the blood, and thinks the hole that's left is cool! I did it > This weekend Jordan showed me that she had a loose tooth. Given my experience with the last 4, she swallowed three of them, I was determined that she would not lose this one. Sooooo......... last night I pulled it out. > She sat there so good for me. She didn't cry and she was very brave. After it was out she said " better! " . > > I was scared to do it at first, but after looking at it and seeing how loose it was, I decided to go for it. I'm glad all went well! > > Judi - Proud mother to Jordan 7, ds and Savannah 11 weeks, nda > Where ever you go.... > There you are > > >
Guest guest
My daughter, non-ds, had a special small pair of pliers that we used to pull loose baby teeth. Once she did it herself and must have talked about it because a little friend came over with a loose tooth and wanted to pull it for her. tried but couldn't get hold of the darn thing. Guest guest
Shaye Well, I made an egg last night. It was easy to make the hole in the end bigger just with inserting 1/2 of a scissor and turning it around and around. I tried doing 3 different colors but you can actually only see 2 of the colors on the outside. I cut off a little slice on the narrow end and it stands up perfectly. Today I'm going to do one with a deep teal and gold. I think 2 colors will be much easier. It came out of the plastic egg real easy!! It ended up weighing 4 oz so I'm hoping I can sell these for $4.00 because of the time involved. It's actually like a piece of art. RE: eggs , I saw this in a book only it was with tennis balls instead of eggs but they used two halves. Keep putting a tablespoon or so of soap in each half a tdifferent angles and different colors. Then when they are almost full, take a color and overfill them and quickly put the two halves together. Would that work for what you want to do? I would think you could take a drill and make that hole bigger if thats the rout you decide on. Shaye

Guest guest
Me and mom went to the gym the other day to sign up for the challenge and they told us they had all the teams already. Well I went to the gym tonight and I was on the crosstrainer and these 2 women were talking about the challenge and one of the women work at the hospital and she said they had such a high volume of calls they decided to go up to 25 teams of 3 instead of just 10 teams of 3. So I went home and called my mom and asked her if she still wanted to do it and she said yeah. So I said we need another person to make up our team. So its going to be me, my mom and my dad. I asked how it worked and she told me that on the 22nd we will weigh in and we wont weigh in again til Feb 20th (she thinks) when its all over. We can do our own thing. The team with the highest percent of Body fat lost will win. The 1st place winning team will win $500 for there favorite charity the 2nd place team will win $300 for there charity and the 3rd place team will win $200 for there charity. I think its going to be great and I think it will keep me motivated. Wish us luck everyone. Tina
