-- Tae Bo

Ok Ive decided on Tae Bo but have had a heck of a time finding the beginners instructional and basic in stores! What is it called exactly and where can I find it? Also if anyone has it on DVD and doesnt use it anymore, wants to get rid of it or whatever please let me know! I appreciate it!

What is the name of it? I'm confused by the " $ten " in your post. There are several that are available retail.

Try to get Tae Bo Gold. It's his video for those over 40. It's awesome and much more realistic than his other videos.

Cool - thanks for the recommend!! I love his Tae Bo, I just can't do it right now. I know I am not supposed to say "can't" LOL, but I can't!! Kills my back (herniated disc, last I heard)

I'd like to check out the kid one. That sounds like fun.

Today my exercise is swinging a hammer to gut my 10 year old's closet. :)

I'm going to put up wire shelves to get it organized. The kid has the

biggest closet in the house so we store suitcases and stuff in there.

This is the first one I have ever viewed. Man, it looks hard. From the look

of this one I'd be afraid the kid one would be hard too. LOL I got my 30

minutes in on the exercise bike today and went and was going to do 30

minutes on the treadmill. It kicked my butt. I couldn't even stay on the

thing 5 minutes. I havent been getting on the treadmill in quite some time.

I've been favoring the bike instead. I wouldn't think there would be such a

huge difference in the two . I tried getting on that treadmill twice today

and I just can't do it. I'll get another 30 minutes on my bike before going

to bed and try the treadmill again tomorrow.

Well I can't either. I can't do that Tae BO. And I can't do that treadmill today. In all truthfulness I didn't even try the TaeBo. I got enough common sense to know I can't do it just yet. I did try the treadmill twice today and it just isnt gonna happen. Don't know why, but it was wiping me out. I guess I got adjusted to sitting on the bike. Sad news on this front. I was hoping to get to 235 before the weekend was out but overnight I showed a .6 pound gain. I only had 1626 calories so was just a little over my calorie limit but i exercised for 1 hour and 11 minutes yesterday. So I don't know where that came from. So I am still 2.6 pounds away from that so I won't make it. Maybe this time next week I'll hit that 235 mark. And I had to buy me another pair of jeans yesterday. I was hoping to have dropped another pant size before purchasing more clothes. Ahh well, life goes on. On the bright side, hubby is still trying to diet with me. I figured he would have given up yesterday to be honest but he is still trying. I hate to say it but he isn't having much success. I think he is struggling more then I am.

I am trying so hard to go by 's "lose 5 lbs a month" thing - from last year! OMG - anyway, I am "close" to 5 lbs for January (sitting on 3 lbs today) so there IS hope!! I really, really, REALLY want to lose 5 lbs a month!!

That is a bummer . Well, soon you will get to buy some smaller ones, I'll bet! I am hoping to shop in San Fran in 2 weeks with b/f - we'll see... I know we are doing more of the touristy things: China Town, Alcatraz, Ghiradelli Square (so much for February's 5 lbs lost!!) and ummmm.... the deYoung Museum - it was closed last time we were in San Fran.

On the bright side, hubby is still trying to diet with me. I figured he would have given up yesterday to be honest but he is still trying. I hate to say it but he isn't having much success. I think he is struggling more then I am.

Yay for dh - maybe he is struggling, but maybe he sees you trying hard too and won't quit this time.

Oh I am too. At the end of the year when his newsletter asked us to look at our year....that we should have been 60 pounds lighter. I was so ashamed to see i had only lost 17 pounds by the end of the year. I know it was better then not losing anything but really we should be able to lose 50 pounds a year . I vowed I would really try to at least get 5 pounds a month this year. So far I am at 5.2 loss for the month so unless I gain I have made it. This is with me gaining .8 pounds the over the last 2 days which really blows my mind cause I have really been good on food and exercise. My problem is I will be real good and lose a bunch of weight then turn around and slip up and gain part back. Which in turn will make me lose it again. I am making me a chart to hang on the wall to show my progress and failure. Maybe it will keep me more aware as to what I'm doing. I am tending to think the late night snack is what is killing me although I plan for it and it falls within my calorie limit. Maybe I should cut it out
