A new habit...

On week days my husband gets up at 5am to get ready for work. I

normally get up with him and make sure he doesn't forget his lunch box,

tools, etc... and then when he leaves at 6am I go back to bed and sleep

until around 9am. I really enjoy getting those extra hours of sleep

and I thought that they might be beneficial but I was wrong!!! When I

get those extra hours of zzz time in I wake up feeling grumpy and even

more tired than I was the first time I woke up at 5am! I've noticed

that on days that I don't go back to sleep after my husband leaves for

work I get a lot more done throughout the day. I usually am in a

better mood and even seem to eat better because then I get breakfast in

and when I sleep in I usually just skip breakfast and wait till lunch

to eat, which by then I feel starving and eat more than I should of

whatever is laying around the house (potato chips, cookies, etc...).

So today I'm going to start a new habit... I'm going to wake up with my

husband at 5am and stop going back to sleep after he leaves! It's just

one small step that can help me towards my 10 pounds gone by Valentines
