I think I know why you like me. Because I am emotional, cry on a dime, and want to help everyone, just like you! But I have never had my emotions stirred as much since I started doing my show on Sirius Satellite Radio. Yes, I have talked to a gazillion people over the last 30-something years in my office, but it`s different when I talk with people on my show. Over the last year and 4 months, I have chatted with those who write me emails and letters and the ones that call in to speak with me, and I share with everyone my philosophies. I send them lots of information about nutrition, exercise, and motivation, and I tell them they can do it; they can reach their goals, just the same way I have talked to you!

So many of you who have written to me for decades still weigh 200, 300, 400, 500 pounds, and have I gone anywhere? No, I have been here for you, literally through thick and thin, hoping one day you`ll get it.

Well, today is my last show of the year. I get Christmas Eve and New Year`s Eve off. On my show today, I`ll talk to , who is a divorced woman of 50 who hates herself and calls herself fat and ugly. I will talk with Kathy, who had 2 stints put in her heart and still wasn`t taking care of herself. Kathy`s doctor told her she must exercise to strengthen her heart, so she has come to me to help her start working out. I will talk with Carolyn, who almost died this summer from a prescription drug overdose, leaving her body in very bad shape. She is also a high risk for diabetes. Carolyn wrote to ask me if I could help her turn her life around, lose weight, and get healthy.

After reading all the emails last night, I have put in my head what I want to say to these individuals. After the show is over, I will come home and try to untie the knots in my soul before going down to the office and calling more people.

And what will you do today? Whose life or lives will you touch?
